People are dumb. Visual proof inside the vid, if you need any. In response to you @jbscotchman , it probably is. The internet gives the world a way to proove how dumb they are, nothing more nothing less. They'd probably have been dumb in 1980 as well. Or 1980 B.C.
People are dumb. Some, extremely dumb. Modern society and overall complacency are a favourable breeding ground. Some people are dumb beyond limits and that's that.
People were always dumb. It's nothing new. We just didn't have the internet to sensationalize it for us in the past.
I'm not convinced this is simply a matter of being "dumb." I don't know just how old I was when my parents first impressed upon me that hot water was potentially dangerous, and boiling water absolutely was. I'll guess and say I was about four years old. Perhaps younger? I didn't need to understand the actual physics involved to take this warning to heart. And, I certainly didn't need to be actually scalded, either. I suppose I simply realized the tone and concern in my parents voice at that moment, and that sufficed to keep me safe until I could clearly grasp the reality for myself. That parental involvement was seemingly missing during the development of these individuals. The power of observation and the miracle of self-preservation probably served to keep most of us from playing in the street as children. When it comes to learning not to play with not-so-obvious hazards such as matches, knives or a bottle of bleach, parents need to be involved. (Does that guy play goaltender for the Penguins?)
I was always playing in the streets. We fell from our crossbikes, climbed & fell from trees, tumbled from skateboards and i must've swallowed tons of sand and green lake water. I somehow survived the 80ies without a helmet.
Oh sweet mother of what the.... that bitch that threw water on her brother needs to be punched in the snatch, hard. Other then that, if someone volunteers to be scalded, i say go ahead. the fewer idiots, the better. There should be a cyanide challenge.....just saying
While I do understand your argument and share your opinion, do you really think these people have never heard that boiling water can be dangerous? I honestly doubt that.
we need to take all warning labels off things for maybe 5-10 years, population will drop a bit and we'll have taken care of a majority portion of these types.
You just can’t fix stupid........ I’m sure some people out there believe Moby Dick is a venereal disease.
Animals are becoming better creatures than humans in almost every way as of late. George Carlin said it best when talking about necrophilia. "A rat will do a lot of gross and disgusting sh it ....but it will not fug a dead rat....it wouldn't even occur to him. Only a human would think, to fug someone that just died."
I'll point out the obvious. Just about everything I've seen on the internet I've either done myself or was with/watched...One memorable incident...Moffett Field CA. Three story barracks. We were sitting on the raised patio drinking some brews. All of a sudden, someone says WTF...and some guy with motorcycle helmet and a pair of shorts is running full speed on the roof of the barracks and takes a flying leap into a pine tree about 15' away from the building. He bounces down the branches to the ground. And I mean it was like boink, boink boink boink..all the way down. Seemed like it took at least 5 seconds. His only injuries being a couple of small bruises and and a bazillion tiny pine needle pricks. He doesn't remember doing it, except for the massive itching from the pine needle sticks he might of thought we were BSing him.
It's called evolution ... only the strongest ones survive. So let evolution do its work, stay aside and watch with a big smile on your face how humanity thins out itself in a very natural way (better than bombs n stuff). EDIT: Wasn't the "Tidepod" challenge (or what it's called) almost the same thing?
