Download the Nvidia GeForce 431.68 Hotfix driver as released by NVIDIA. ... GeForce 431.68 hotfix driver download
So people would rather Nvidia left bugs in their drivers for weeks until the next full release? You’d have the same people that complain about hotfix drivers complaining about them leaving bugs in their drivers for weeks.
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/ans...mcTE1eGczUFk5MFN0aGRSJTdFQldQQXY1dVElMjElMjE= Always here mate but no idea why they arnt on the normal site i guess they point people there when asking for support
I think i'll skip these drivers as they seem a bit rushed. I don't plan on buying Wolfenstein Young Blood anytime soon so i'll stick with 431.36 until the next release.
They are not "rushed" you have a 2080 which is one of the affected parts, you don't get to whine about VRR monitors messing up if you aren't using the fixed drivers.
Oh i should update my rig info. I actually sold my 2080 some months ago and i'm using a 2080Ti now. Thanks for pointing that out
Thanks for the. But how is that supposed to be used to find the latest hotfix? Selecting hotfix on that site only shows older ones.
hotfix drivers will only ever get posted to the nvidia forums and then shared to others, not available via their download page or gfe.
I got curious and ended up trying these new drivers anyway. They add a lot of improvements for colour vibrancy in HDR mode but they're also full of bugs. With HDMI audio going to the socket on my TV and from the TV ARC socket to my soundbar, I was getting 1-2 seconds audio delay every few seconds on the Windows 10 Netflix App and sometimes in Youtube. It's like the HDMI socket on the GPU was getting insufficient bandwidth for audio. I was using a Belkin HDMI 2.1 (48gbps) cable to the LG 55SM9000 TV (equipped with 4x HDMI 2.1 sockets) so there shouldn't have been any bandwidth issues... yet there was. Decided to plug the same HDMI 2.1 cable into my 4K blu ray player and test to see if it worked with that device (Blu Ray to TV, TV ARC to Soundbar). It worked absolutely fine, no audio delays, perfect picture quality. So there's definitely something up with the Nvidia HD Audio driver in the 431.68 pack.
