So guys please excuse me I do not know the diffrence between the 2, Right now we have the Regular version of the xbox one (blk) what is the diffrence between the S model all I can see its white instead of black lol. Ours is messed-up not reading Discs at all anymore so I wanted to get another one to replace it but....Seeing the X model is alot more expensive I have to go with the S model. So its basicly same thing right s and regular? Thanks guys and sorry for bad spelling english is not my native Language. Cheers dudes. Nick Z.
Thats the ONLY diffrence? Hardware is exactly the same? I see it has the power-brick built-in unlike the original version according to the specs. So gaming wise I will NOT notice anything diffrent? I have a 4k Tv iam running it on LG 61 inch. Id like to get the X model but too much $$$. Thanks bro.
Yeah power brick is internal too but other than that everything is the same. I traded my original for the S strictly for the UHD player.
The gpu is actually marginally faster for HDR https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-microsoft-xbox-one-s-review 914MHz vs 853MHz
If you don't have a 4k tv then go for the S model, it is the same are your present model, but has a UHD drive, and supports Bluetooth controllers, and Atmos, plus if you ever get a 4k hdr tv the S will support it with 4k hdr movies, 4k hdr streaming appsand 4k hdr upscaled games.
I already have a 4k Tv I thought I mentioned that lol? Its an LG 61 INCH 3840X2160 . ah just found this out yesterday but the S has a 60hz and 120hz option as well I tried it and I dont know Game seems to run a little faster from what I can tell? Metro Exodous. Yes my Tv does have 120hz. It seems to run a little better then our old xbox I dont know honestly? Thanks guys.
I felt a Small increase in performance while playing Metro but like the dude in the video said its what 7% Increase lol, I will take it every little bit helps. I am not so sure about the 60hz-vs 120hz thing I dont know what to look for ( sorry old timer here) maybe you guys can give me some tips? I can run it at 4k with 60hz vs 1080p @ 120hz .
You sure your Tv has full 120hz and not some 60hz X2 120hz screen interpoling screen proccessing thing, plus are there any games that actuall;y support 120hz on the console?
I have no idea my bro but its a $1,000 set I sure as hell hope so lol. Either way tough I am happy I think the kids will like it its more for them then me. Thank you guys once again for your feedback.
Game are the same, it's not the boost that will do something that can be seen. Also the one S get rid of the kinnect (but there is a tweak to use it even on one X) And despite the PSU is in the console and the boost, the one S is more cool... and this is cool
