Hey there, I've been struggling with this issue for a while, I can't for the life of me figure out wtf is going on. I'm using a freesync monitor (AOC g2460pf, 144hz) with a RX 580. All games are stuttering when I move the camera around. Games where you cant really move the camera such as LoL or Path of exile are fine, but any FPS game or 3rd person game will stutter. The stutters only happen if I move the mouse. If I turn around using the keyboard nothing happens. This made me think it was a mouse issue, but I tried another one and the stutters were still there. My mouse is a Logitech G pro. This is what I've tried to far: -Fresh win 8.1/Win10 installs -Mobo bios update -Turning off all OC's, checking temps -Using old GPU drivers -Turning Freesync off -Using RTSS, enhanced sync, and various other methods and ways to fps cap -Making custom res with CRU, making sure that everything freesync related is ok -Tried connecting the mouse to every single USB port to make sure its not a port issue -Disabling game mode, fullscreen opt, various other windows tweaks This is a video of what the stutter looks like. Sorry the potato quality, but had to record it using a phone. It's very bad @ around 0:17. Thanks in advance!
Polling rate - Turn down (lower) the polling rate on your mouse. Spoiler -------------------------------------------- Try Disabling Windows 10 Game mode Try Exclusive Fullscreen Mode ingame Try disabling V-Sync
Game mode is disabled Polling is set @ 1000hz. As I lower the polling rate, the stutter just become worse and worse. 125hz=absolutely unplayable Playing with freesync/vsync/fullscreen just makes the problem more or less obvious depending on the game.
May be your CPU does idle too much? I mean may be 1000Hz mouse poll keeps it out of idle P-states/C-states...
Can't see it that well in that ytube clip. Did you try this new ''anti-lag'' feature of the latest radeon driver? You using crossfire? same thing with just 1 card?
I did play OP's video entirely at 0.25x rate. While camera stutters in motion, flying animation of wings did not. This means issue is not in rendering/pacing, but in input or its timing. I would check USB drivers, HPET, ...
Delete your demon hunter, that might help. Sorry for the offtopic, i just hate them LOL Last time i had a weird issue like that with WOW was because of windows defender real time analysis... I ended up putting all game and launcher folders in the windows defender white list.
I know it has been a while, but did you fix the problem? if so, what was it? i am having the same issue and its driving me crazy..
