A driver is never late, nor he is early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

At the default global power setting of optimal, i lost some performance on some benches, set to adaptive gets it back on track. Of course i always set individual games to max performance and no issues there yet.

Left new setting of "Latency" at default "Best Performance.

    So far so good.

I'd assume in September/October (whenever the next Windows 10 upgrade launches) or even next year.

I can attest that 'Lowest latency' indeed reduces latency in CS:GO, in the only game I care about latency. Latency wise, I can't really tell if its the same as pre-rendered frame 1 from prior drivers. Although if I had to guess, and speaking strictly from how it feels, I would say pre-rendered frame 1 is closer to 'low latency' than 'lowest latency'. However the stuttering I got from pre-rendered frame 1 isn't present with 'lowest latency'.

Manuel has already said we won't see R35 family for a long while yet.

This is probably because "Lowest Latency" sets the pre rendered frames to 1 AND sets Threaded Optimization to Off. Give that a try on 431.36 and see what you think.

the question is, is it worth cleaning/coming off of dch to install these.

wonder how it is they only push standard versions? Does windows update just ignore people using dch drivers?

DCH and Standard is essentially the same driver, so no performance differences. Unless you want to use WU releases, no reason to swap from DCH.

I noticed that I get artifacts in 3dmark Night Raid on my GTX 1060 with this driver but not on my GTX 980Ti.

Wonder why 435.27 has Latency but this doesn't because this is a Studio driver, 435.27 is for gaming which is why it has Latency option.

I told about these to one friend who's a total mouse tweaking geek, and he also said they make a big difference @ lowest latency.
He tested it in OSU, he plays that a lot to tweak his aim lol

    Yea, the difference is noticeable.

Can you ask your friend to try the 435.80 at 'Let application decide'; I am certain there is a difference between those and the 431 (and prior builds), but I can't say if there is one between that and the 435.27. I have yet to try with pre-rendered frames 1, but let application decide usually sets that option to 1 anyway in fast paced shooters like CS.
