As well shared mode apps will not sound at all when exclusive mode app is running.
I doubt that games use exclusive mode. Media players do, but not games.

Yeah. I use two players and I turn exclusive mode on in both.

 

Why does 19H1 still feel like an insiders edition. Always some stupid thing or another not working right. Often cant right click explorer tabs in taskbar.

 

afaik, 19h1 is the first version moving to be under the azure teams leads, so there is some teething issues specific to that.

also they still haven't fired Dona Sarkar which they really need to do because she can't be both a fashion designer and lead the windows 10 team without screwing things up on one end.

 

so.. my dvi -> vga adapter just broke and im suprized how well rx580 working with hd630 and wddm2.6 no fps loss, no drops. last time i was trying, it was stuttery mess with 750ti and 1809

 

But who will push for emojis and similar stuff then??

Afaik 19H2 will be more of a "service pack" update.
Edit: focusing on optimization and bugfixing instead of adding new features every 6months..

Hey guys just wondering if the latency mon should spike when alt tabing ? I run LatencyMon start it open csgo play a few mins alt-tab out its over 1000 is this normal i do not have a 2nd monitor to see if its changing while playing

LatencyMon with csgo in window mode, You tube playing music, I also put GPU in MSI mode it was sharing a irq with audio, But game even feels smoother

Putting that in same window tanked my fps lol there normally near 300 have rtx 2060 and 9400f

 

So yes ndis being your only spikes and only 845 while downloading is great. Your network dpcs will spike during downloading but sub 850 is a great result for that. 2nd question yes with an nvidia gpu you will have a breif dpc latency spike when alt tabbing or launching a game when the card changes p states from desktop to gaming. This is normal spikes range from 400-700 and it is only a brief one. Nothing you can do these days without being able to mode the video bios to lock the p state like the good ole pre pascal days.

Users got notified by quotes - "someone quoted your post ...", by likes - "someone liked your post ...", and by @ too - "someone mentioned you ...".

PS At least that was the case for a long time.

it means the leaders now are people who have actual experience shipping a working windows build.
