I completely forgot about this game and i see it is only 9.24€ on steam.
I will definitely get it at that price, the only thing i am worried about is that the pc live action scenes are streamed at 4k.
I have i am afraid i will get buffering issues due to my slow internet.
MaXThReAT it would be great to download the videos can you show me where to get them from?

Second this. I have the game but haven't started playing it yet. Would definitely like to get the videos downloaded locally, as I have crappy 7mbit ADSL.

The TV episodes are not available for download on PC.
And, on the Xbox, they are an additional 80 gig download.

Started to play this again this week. Such a great game, just a shame it's so bloody unstable for me. The dreaded cutscene/back to gameplay hitching still exists. Even on my beefy new rig. I'm hoping it disappears for good once I get my GTX 1080Ti. Such an awesome game. Love the animations, fluid combat and the time-related puzzles.

The animations, characters locomotion and hit reactions, lightning, visual effects, this game is a masterclass in its field really, cannot wait for control.

You clearly didn't read the previous page. And space is cheap.

A little over 100 minutes in and I already love this game. The time powers are so freaking cool, it's like Max Payne meets the Matrix, meets something else I don't know what, but it totally works, and is gorgeous to look at. Also the live action scenes do work on Steam.

Just imagine what they're gonna do with ray tracing... O_O

    ... @ 1080p with upscaling though :D

Even though Control is not out yet I can definitely see the similarities between the two games, and that's fine with me. Quantum Break is the game I've been wanting to play. (I'm still trying to figure out where I was in 2016) Personally I like the integration of live action sequences. This is something that could merge the movie and game industry closer together, and who knows what that could be like in the future. You may start getting actors jumping ship to the gaming industry, which has been happening for several years now actually. I mean Keanu Reeves is gonna be in CyberPunk2077, that's a pretty big deal.

That is indeed the direction taken. Cinema and videogaming industry are going to merge more and more in the next decades, also because videogaming brings stellar profits.

Does the steam version stream them or do you need to install them first, i played it on the XBX so i just streamed the 4k cut scenes with no issues, but i have no idea if the steam version has access to the streaming versions.

The total install size is 68.8 GB and I don't think that would include all the live action scenes. I'm guessing they're streaming.

Yes, on Steam the TV episodes are streaming.

The only platform you can download the episodes for is the Xbox. Unless you find a "work around" for technically, unofficial downloads of the episodes.

When the game came out 970 was running the game really bad and i can see it still does. In DF test 390 was doing much better. I can imagine Contol would run even worse. 1080ti should be a different story though.

Actual gameplay is great, even on ultra @1080p. I've now got to a point where the game just crashes to desktop at a certain location (a van crashes through a fence cut-scene on Act 2). Happens every time, so will just have to see if there are any workarounds/tweaks. Annoying :(

    I'm getting a solid 60fps @ 1080p with ultra/high settings, shadows on medium.

Well, your 1660Ti is faster then a 970.
Also, if you're playing on STEAM, the STEAM release uses DX11, which runs better for Nvidia hardware. While the original Win10 release was on DX12 and ran horribly for all, but worse on Nvidia.

I own both versions, and the Win10 runs terribly in comparison to the Steam version.
And, even then, the Steam version only really runs great with upscaling turned on. When you turn upscaling off, the image looks incredible, but... performance takes a massive hit.

This game is a freaking mind trip! The time powers + bullet time is so damn cool!
