NP at all, it is Windows 1903 Issue.

For me Problem is no more:

    I've installed new WHQL -> 19.6.2-june24
And everything went smooth, no redish/pink or such screens.

To be noted, that i have Loaded ICC profile for my monitor into Windows.
Im also using CRU, all Fine.

So to solve this, i needed to dig deeper into Monitor Specs, and input Valid ranges into CRU
+ go into (right click on desktop) Display Settings once after restart/boot, Windows will upload good Values for monit. ranges.
If You have Color Temp. at 6500K leave it at default.

    In Tests (Benchmark sites etc.)
Nv is like -> Plug & Play this what You get.
Vega is like -> Not UV, Throthing and under performing much ;) (please add 7-15% to all tests)

Now the Truth (ATI in our hands):
    Vega 64 - 2070 Level of performance
Vega XTX LC - Almost 1080Ti level of performance
Vega VII - Between 2080Ti & 2080 AIB Level of performance.

Just read my Tweaks for UE, how to baypass $hity performance.
All my UE3/4 Games performs better than benchmark.

And afterall UE is not s*ity that much thanks to this :p (Long live 4 the Tweakers/Moders Scene)

So I replaced the TIM on my Vega 64 GPU and replaced the thermal pads for ones with better coverage.

Now during Time Spy Extreme stress testing at 1668/1100MHz my GPU temp goes up to 71 degrees, HBM at 76, and the VRMs reach 90 degrees. The latter still seems a bit high, though they went up to nearly 100 degrees before.
The Hotspot temperature went down from 107 degrees to 90, so that's something at least.
All with about 80% fan speed, and +50% Power. GPU clocks remained at 1550 approximately.

I also flashed my BIOS to the Asus Vega 64 one with a 260W limit (mine only had 220W, the 'performance' BIOS, from Asus website). But nothing worked with fan speed on 'auto' (fan curve is a straight line at 43% fan speed), only with manual, and both of the other bioses on Techpowerup are the same (with a 220W limit, despite the details claiming otherwise).

Does anyone have a proper performance BIOS for this card?

LC bios? it will give you a bit more voltage and 1750 clocks. just put awater block on it and temps will go down, that card loves WC

I stoped my sub on his chanel, I think that the performane on his amd gpus are low vs the rest dont know the reason, also no UV no tweaks nothing. Its only 4 clicks away on radeon setings.

We all know that a proper tunned v56 (even with nano pcb) can get a RTX2070.

I'm sure it will, but I can't afford a water cooling system right now, or I would have done that ages ago.

By remaining 'on air' would it be harmful to flash to the Sapphire or MSI bioses?

Your card has a switch for 220w\260w. On the left is 220w, on the right is 260w. Also a good mod is to remove the fans and the plastic coverage altogether and put 2 12cm fans.

I've noticed my Vega strix started to have cooling issues in VR. I use a pimax 5k and it destroys this gpu to the point i have to run it at less than 1500mhz, VRM goes into 100+ range and HBM into 80s.
i've been looking this, Minus pad 8 is out of stock on overclockers website, what else could i use?

Try to source Fujipoly Sarcon Gr80a thermal pads.
They are the best you can get.
Not quite cheap, though. 13 w/mk thermal conductivity. (vs 8 of the Minus pad 8)

Both settings of the switch (both P-mode and Q-mode) show a 220w board maximum, as if both settings use the same BIOS version.
I had it flashed with the 'official' one on Asus' website, the one for which Defender gives a false positive, and apparently it was a 220w-Bios.
Techpowerup has 3 BIOSes for the Asus: two older ones (A01S and A01M), which are the same 220W-BIOS, or at least there are no differences (despite what the Techpowerup page says).
The third (more recent one) is a 260W BIOS, but I have to use a manual fan profile since nothing works with the automatic one (with a zero fan option and a straight curve at 43%)

It does work though mostly so I'm using that one currently.
