So primitive shaders active but no RT or Variable Rate Shading, and disappointment pricing included.

they did this because their d3d11 driver is not optimal for the capabilities of the card.

I am agree with other members, the prices is bit overprice.
    5700 XT - $449 - with 225W TDP.
    5700 - $399 - With 180W TDP.
    Vs
    Nvidia Rumor,
    GeForce RTX 2070 - $599 (current price)
    GeForce RTX 2070 Super - $549
GeForce RTX 2070 - $449-$499 (possible price drop price) - With 175W TDP
    GeForce RTX 2060 - $349 (current price)
    GeForce RTX 2060 Super - $349-$399
GeForce RTX 2060 - $299 (possible price drop price) - with 160W TDP

    based on latest benchmark,
    5700 XT +6% over RTX 2070
    5700 +11% over RTX 2060
*i believe that result with full spec New Zen 3000 + New Chipset x570 + New PCIe Gen 4 lane. it will different story when ONLY using Zen 2000 + Chipset B350 + PCIe Gen 3.

I think the most interesting part is 5700 Vs 2060 / 2060 Super.
I can grab 2060 for $299 (or $249 rumor) with 11% performance different with low TDP.
    Or
Grab 2060 Super with same price.
Its MORE interesting if we have +10% ~ +15% performance gain with same TDP (or let say 175W TDP, 2070 TDP class) with old 2060.

    Lets wait and see...

True but Nvidia cards can also use Vulkan :p

One odd thing to me that I was surprised AMD didn't at least mention, is the RTX 2060 comes with 6GB's of ram, 192-bit wide bus, No SLI capability. RX-5700 is 8GBs GDDR6, 256-bit wide bus, X-fire and multi-gpu capable--unless something's changed. Pretty much the 5700 is the clearly superior product. I'm sweet on the 5700XT, myself.

Right.. so why not Vulkan API vs Vulkan API benchmarks?

What about that silly dent on the XT version. Looks like someone hit it with the hammer.

They actually though that looks cool.

When I watched the livestream they said on stage that the benchmark results were all "best to best" so they showed whichever API had the highest FPS for each GPU.

They mentioned in the presentation that benches would show the best results of whatever API the cards excel in. This imo is the proper approach.

AMD never fail to disappoint it seems. Knowing their higher than announced release prices coupled with a 50usd reduction from nvidia and these gpus are dead on arrival.
