Er no, you are forced to participate in the markets which are available to you regardless of the type...unless you plan to go without even the essentials of food. I think what you mean to convey is that SOME purchases ARE voluntary, and THOSE choices need to be made. Nuance is important, extremists miss that.

You mean regulated capitalism. The tension is always going to be too little or too much regulation. Apparently you want the advantages of society, but not the responsibility. Highways, public schools, police and fire dept are all examples of 'socialism'.
The problem is people pushing trigger words like 'socialism' around as if just using the word, makes an argument.

Your arguments sound similar to those that the twentieth-century communists fooled illiterate peasants. All of these anti-capitalist systems had one common feature - the employee worked half-free (sometimes free in labor camps) so that the ruling group, much smaller than in the capitalism, could collect much more of the profits. Highways, public schools, police, fire dept and health care, if they operate on socialist principles, are inefficient and bring gigantic losses. In capitalism, these are investments that work effectively and bring great profits to society. Thirty years ago, when eastern Europe was all socialist, arguments about the superiority of socialism were commonly used to keep societies on a leash of terror. To all those who dream of such a political system, I recommend trying life as an ordinary employee in Cuba, in China or North Korea.

Cuba under Castro and NK are dictatorships.

Which particular socialist or communist country, former or present was not dictatorships? I graduated in Poland when the Berlin Wall fell, I knew the socialist countries of Eastern Europe from everyday life, not from propaganda.
With the experience of living in both systems I have learned one thing: I can sometimes trust a man who is trying to sell me something, but I will never trust a man who says he knows better than me, what is good for me and that he, for my sake, he will build this "good".

You might be on to something. Maybe it's a One Piece game funded by nVidia supporting ray tracing.

i stayed with my 1080ti, only worth it upgrade performance wise would be the 2080ti, but not at this price, in canada its 1700-1800$, i already get very good fps in n 2k onn a 165 hz screen, im not paying rtx yet, by the time its more common in game a new gen of card will come and perform better at it

Plus the price to perfomance ratio compared to the 2080ti has pushed me back some, this is the ONLY reason why I am waiting for something else, glad I did too, although I would love to test two of these bad boys but I am more then happy with my 2 1080ti's and yes they are still an absolute beast, if people have two of them already, no need to upgrade, I would hold off a bit.

I think there will be new cards without RTX that getting similar performances as 2060 2070 2080 etc.. Or a a dedicated RTX module like old Ageia PhysX Card.

We already have GTX1660Ti for lower-mid-range performance.
Novidia will shoot its foot by releasing high-end GPUs without RTX, since its their main marketing point.

Releasing GPU with better performance than RTX2060 without RTX will basically make it obsolete.

There no options left for Novidia, but to re-release RTX, offer better deals and sell more.

theres not going to be a dedicated Raytracing module and the people who keep coming out with that idea need to get a clue.

If "Super" is the refresh of cards already out, I indeed was not impressed with all right there is.

Well, if the Navi cards fail to perform better than the RTX 2070 and are priced similarly, a new batch of (maybe) cheaper and better nVidia cards will blow the Radeon franchise out of the market.
Which means that nVidia will have to cut it's margins for the time being, but will take back all the discrete GPU market and skyrocket the prices again on next gen cards.

Ha you're right, anybody believing this is probably dellusional, or at least very, very optimistic. :D
Nvidia only does what they think they want to do to counter AMD's offerings, the 2080TI (for now) neither does get a refresh nor a price drop...
