The underlined can be worked around by disabling the IGP in the bios if such a option is offered, otherwise users are advised to return to r418/425.

No $41t! No telemetry, no bloat version please! They could call it the "Basic version"!

"NVIDIA Basic Drivers provide folks who are sick of our bull$#17 the best performance and reliability when working with whateverthef0c4 you like. To achieve the highest level of reliability, Basic Drivers undergo extensive testing against unwanted telemetry, data mining, and other invasive bloat. They work better than all our other assorted flavors because they simply don't have all the bull$#17 that cause all the problems!"

Back on topic though, these (gameready flavor stripped of bloat before install) are running fine on my W10 LTSC 1809. No improvement or decline that I can see without running a bunch of benchmarks.

Jokes aside, what actually is the difference between the typical WHQL release and the Studio Driver (SD) release?
I can understand coming out with one driver that said SD or WHQL with different versions, then you could at least assume the focus of the SD would have no gaming improvements. But in this case they are the same exact driver... right?

All NVIDIA drivers provide full features and application support for top games and creative applications.

If you are a gamer who prioritizes day of launch support for the latest games, patches, and DLCs, choose Game Ready Drivers.

If you are a content creator who prioritizes stability and quality for creative workflows including video editing, animation, photography, graphic design, and livestreaming, choose NVIDIA Studio Drivers.

If you are both a gamer and creator, choose Game Ready Drivers.

First time I have had any windows issues after driver update, installed 430.86 basic only (core driver, HD audio and PhysX).
After the install went fine, I changed the driver to MSI mode and went to restart windows but start menu did nothing.

I am on 1903 which fixed many delays in the start menu, anyway, easy fix just had to restart process StartMenuExperienceHost.exe and all was good afterward.

    Hi ManuelG.

Does this driver improve smoothness in Witcher 3 under Windows 10???

I had to go back to 419.67 since the latest ones generate too many spikes in framerate!!!

    x299 platform here.

Any comparison of 1809 vs 1903 performance with these?

uhohhhhh... The 430.86 installer did not do a clean install with that checkbox checked.
First version after 1903 upgrade, and the installer showed "None" for current driver when 430.64 was there.
