way over 350 watts hitting 380 at times. but around 280 to 300 a lot of the time. all over the place really. but i kept it off because people will only take the piss.lol i will do that right now and let you know my results.
ah man AMD and their crazy power targets. I lost 10% performance but saved over 200 watts in the process. why do they push everything to the maximum it just isn't necessary. They are deserving of their poor reputation for efficiency and it dont need to be that way. Anyways here is the 180 watt test.
It looks a bit dated..I see they used the same rendering like by older FFXIV heavens ward, storm blood and performance is like storm blood ~16800. stock bios factory oc 1405mhz/45mhz offset vram https://i.**********/nMbFx1gS/ffxiv-shadowbringer-1080p-default-high.png @ maximum settings Spoiler https://i.**********/PqLRbkPZ/ffxiv-shadowbringer-1080p-max.png https://i.**********/yNwrvrZG/ffxiv-shadowbringer-1440p-max.png here at max 1470/+90mhz offset on vram, anything more would hard freeze the system.. shitty hynix xD https://i.**********/3Rmf6Cjx/ffxiv-shadowbringer-1440p-max-max-gpu-oc-1470.png [spoiler/]
I think in future i will keep this set to 180 watts. loose some performance yeah but none i will notice.
This benchmark will be getting an update to rectify an issue where hair is not rendered correctly on some races.
Re-ran with higher settings, but not going nuts. Power limit: 300 W (in bottom video) HBM: 1050 MHz GPU: up to 1700 MHz CPU: up to 5 GHz Video of final scene only from score below Spoiler Full video with same settings as above score. If I were to let power go to max watts and HBM above 1100 MHz, I can see a score of 12.5K+. Also, notice that the recording score is around 500 points lower while only using AVC high settings, so makes a big enough difference for me either way. Yes, especially that second from last scene in the hall.
Hehe, i love pushing the gpu to the max. My 580 pulls more than your Vega lol, 200w+ at 1500mhz only becouse i dont care.
vulkan 425.58 driver was tiny bit better on newest windows 1903, above was 430.62. https://i.**********/d0YM5wNb/best.png edit: seems to like high cpu OC more then gpu OC.
i been keeping a eye on vulkan for a long time. its been fun watching it get better but its hasnt got any better the last 3 mths or so for me.
