it all started last week when a new iPhone was ordered from Amazon using MY Account yet the iPhone was to be shipped to Hollywood Florida! "585 miles away" ...The way I found out was gmail sent a message "your package has shipped" ...Glad I didn't have that much money in that account or it would take a week or more to retrieve.... Now for the ebay hit!....someone ordered a big dildo on my account...WTF? ....<I know I'm gonna catch hell here for that one> No I did not order it! the only place that has these passwords and bank account numbers is google autofill "that I know of"? any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated....Thanks.
actually I've only been with ebay for about 3 years? .... The iPhone from Amazon was actually shipped even though I only had $62 dollars in the account? https://i.**********/gjstL507/Phone2.png That is my name "red" and that is the last four digits of my bank card....But that ain't my address!!!!
Oh amazon was great....I was talking to a live person within 1min of calling...."very good customer support"....they open an investigation and emailed me and said yes someone used my account.... I deleted my bank card with them over the phone. I'm just glad I did not have that much money in that account....would have took 7-10 days to get it back.
So I guess, contrary to the OP's title, your amazon account, not google, was hacked But yeah just admit you wanted that big dildo really bad Spoiler Glad you got it sorted out though. Yes I think amazon does have issues, lately I found my twitch account (connected to amazon because of prime) lost a few hundred bits I earned via some event, and subbed people who don't even stream once for two months because I was too slow to change it... no reaction from twitch (they do not have customer service unless you're an active streamer I guess, no reaction AT ALL to flagging a fraudulent account twice). So good to know at least amazon's doing something.
What actually happened was that op got caught with the big dildo, so he opened a thread to make it seem like he got hacked... True story.
I have phone level authentication for google account. Every new device login will be postponed till I confirm it via popup on phone.
You are correct...I just learned how to check an it says that only "this windows pc" has logged in the past 30 days... I guess its not my google account after all.
Use 2FA. Always use 2FA ! If 2FA is not available on some service, don't use that service ! Lesson for the future.
