Should improve many things, as always it is for better GPU utilisation + some new Features as well :p
Best way to find out is to check MSAA now and after the update (compare results and share with us)

Huh, how it could improve MSAA performance?

Monday driver perhaps, meaning a release just before RAGE2 and if it's not WDDM 2.6 it might be another few fixes with support for RAGE 2 added in before they get the full Windows 10 1903 and WDDM 2.6 driver out which is a bit of a jump and could have other things as well but we'll see in two - three days I suppose. :)

FE so if doing that you need the Pro driver package first I believe and then in that switch to game mode for Vega Founder Edition and then install the 19.4.x driver starting with maybe 19.4.3 and going backwards until the problem is resolved.
I have heard a few mixed things about the newer drivers and Vega FE support but not enough for a full picture and it could be isolated issues on specific systems although this post is yet another one to these so there could be something with how this GPU is managed between Pro and Gaming drivers for newer driver releases. :)

Same here, I like that we can load the gaming drivers directly but no Wattman nor does any OCing software will work with the suppose gaming drivers. Have 2 Vega FE that OC extremely well, undervolt etc. What a waste and a huge disappointment. Why lock out OCing software when previous gaming drivers worked well with Wattman and other OCing software? This is utterly intentional from AMD part and I feel is BS.

Another point is AMD promoted the FE as a Content Creator, Gaming and Crypto Mining card - Without ability to adjust voltages, clocks etc. it is totally worthless as a mining card, limited on gaming (I am losing around 15%-20% gaming performance with these drivers). Worst set of drivers AMD has ushered out for the Vega FE due to the limitations. The enterprise/pro drivers are terrible for gaming and mining and are worthless other than professional programs. I do all three above and do not want three different machines in order to do each. Now I do have multiple rigs but special purpose.

Hopefully the official release will have an option for which Panel as in Pro Settings or Adrenaline with Wattman to load. At least allow 3rd party utilities to OC the FE.
