Ok.. HBM at anything lower than 951mV and it locks at 800Mhz. So now it's 1050 at 951.
With that said, i run the test again with a score of 97.3%.
Gpu temp 66, Gpu hot spot 84, Mem temp 72, SOC VRM temp 92, Mem VRM temp 80, Gpu Power Draw max 279W
I'm not sure what "Floor" you said is
I think all temps look good, except for that SOC. Isn't 92 a bit high?
Anyway.. i have a bench result of fire strike here
    https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19139546
It doesn't look bad i think. It's the best score i got so far

Edit: And the best for Time Spy

I think I'm getting there, R6 Siege still crashes sometimes but now it's a game crash and not a GPU driver crash, I had this behavior with R6 when undervolting my CPU2700x(and 1700x) and overclocking memory + stock rx 580.. R6 Siege must be very oc/uv sensitive.

This reminds me back then when Crysis 3 was launched.. I had an overclocked 3570k @ 4.4 for a while super stable, then started to crash playing Crysis3, like 5 min playing, crash.. after reinstalling driver, game, windows, I just set my CPU to 4.3 and the crashes were gone.

So some games/3D app/engines are more sensitive to this stuff.

    Thank you all

    BF V & BF1 is a good example :D
Im now at more conservative Mem OC, was 3500 is 3430 lol

BFV silent crash to desktop is gone ;)

Definitely a tweakers card. Took me awhile to figure my card out too. There are basic guidelines to these cards but each one is different when it comes to fine tuning them. Even changing drivers effect their OC. Once you get them dialed in they are great cards. If AMD had the Vega's drivers and AIB partners with better cooling out the gate then they would have done much better. These cards are just now showing there potential. Keeping up with GTX 2070s. Your really see that with the Radeon VII. Its Vega unleashed. They had a bump at the release but fixed drivers quick. They need to let partners tweak these(Radeon)cards

Here some scores for my everyday settings:

    Grapic scores
    Firestrike- 26,009
    Firestrike Ultra- 6,231
    Timespy- 8,032
    SuperPosition 1080 Extreme.-5,072

Avg. 1,660-1,665mhz core/ HBM 1,100mhz with small undervolt. maxs out at 62-66c in heavy games.

Maybe one day if I have some time and extra $$$ I do a custom loop with water block for hell of it.

More & more Devs. looking into Next-Gen APIs (DX12/VLK) so we can be assured that Vega will Live a long Time :D
For Next Consoles it's mandatory step.
Porting Games one way or another is simplier that way....
Look into MK XI Optimization, 4k 60FPS on Vega 64 is possible.

IMhO try to lower HBM2 V a little bit (less than 1000mV is perfect)
    I have 1120 at 937 or 943mV
    and 1100MHz at 931mV

Ive tried. Its ends up crashing. 1000mV is 90-95% stable and anything less will crash some games.

well.. I can get your score points with my settings, but I need to up the Power Limit, I'm currently at 220W + 10%..

Just played 3 full ranked on R6 Siege and all seems to be fine now, finally. And this Radeon Chill is impressive, I can barely notice any difference between it on and off, the clocks/fps response time is amazing, all this with a smooth gameplay and lower heat/power draw.

Lower than I thought GPU voltages, you’ve got a good binned chip. Which model of Vega 64?

Thats about as good as I can get for everyday settings. I can push 1700/1100 but needs voltage and heats up fast. If under water the card would be crazy. I messed around alittle with power play mods( 1.25v 90%PL) and was stable at 1750-1765 core/1100 HBM. Without water card is way to hot.

Here a quick run around in the Division 2. Max temp reached is 63c core 68c HMB.[IMG]

The one thing I've noticed most is how dynamic the speed to voltage(power) is. For example where my voltage setting are, I can get 1665-1675 steady in game. But if I bump 1025mv down to 1000mv then my core goes down about 10-15mhz in game. If I bump up(1075mv) the core speed goes up (1675-1680mhz) but as heat comes into play(68-70c) it starts to level back (1660s). Also if you drop power to much then core frequency jumps around alot more. Right now I use about 275-280w on avg. with peaks of 290w. But core stays stable within 10mhz. If I drop power(250w avg.) I see alot of frequency jumping (30-50mhz). If I drop power to low 220-230w then there goes high frequencies.

I seen that vid. Wonder what thickness those thermal pads are? Was thinking of doing a tear down and applying some Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and pads.
