I'm not overly familiar with laptops so what do people think about this. It's for the wife and while she only plays Sims 3/4, she also wants something that gives her reasonable options. Seems decent for £600 though. https://www.very.co.uk/asus-asus-tu...DhMNtmAgXq1M2KegVuyJqvLzPgO3ujqEaAqQQEALw_wcB
Cough....anyone lol. Guess I'm going to stop being lazy and learn about the non desktop side Sems a good price for the specs though, and she will be swapping out the HDD for her current SSD as well.
Well now that I work in a pc shop there is also a lot of questions about laptops That said it looks ok for what it is, I see it has extra Vega8 gpu build in as well, so combined gpu power should be enough with extra RX560 Although 16GB ram would be ideal, but you can upgrade that later - add another 8GB stick.
Thanks for the reply, it was actually the fact it was a single 8Gb stick that concerned me more as i would have prefered 2x4GB, but as you said it's something that can be added when it starts to age. She is coming from a 6 year laptop that has an i3, 3gb ram and an integrated gpu so anything will be an upgrade, but i want something that will last.
