AJ is a bit on the crazy side, but I think anyone would be driven to that sort of mentality taking on what he has for decades. Most of society wants, perhaps even needs to live in ignorance, because who wants to know the darkest truths about what's going on behind the scenes? Who really wants to know that the Satanic elite has and still are sacrificing people, children, daily. Better put X-Factor on.
Well, he is partly crazy and partly blows things out of proportions to get his crowd. And while one can easily question validity of many things he says, there happen to be basis for those things which are real. (At least from time to time.)
Alex Jones is controlled opposition to give credible conspiracy people an automatic bad name and stigma. Just look at the way he handles himself. Over the top. Purposely so. Jones has been on for 20 years but hasn't exposed sh*t or stopped anything. So....he must be around for a reason? F*** rogaine and jones.

He has been a nutter for years. I used to follow him around 2004-2005 of which I'm not proud of today. Watched all his so called documentaries, and none of his so called predictions came true. No martial law and later on he has of course made a lot of more predictions pulled straight out of his ass in order to sell fear to gullible people. Alex Jones is what you get when you mix a televangelist, national enquirer, WWE and X-files all into one. A complete fraud that doesn't deserve to earn a penny from anyone by telling ridiculous lies. It's beyond belief that he has not been sued into oblivion yet.
Alex Jones is very successful in creating division and giving people a label in his field. He's a cancer.
I have thought something similar myself. He's clearly a character and not a real person and the whole thing is a scam either way, but recently I started to think that maybe it is deliberate attempt to deflect people away from questioning anything. Deliberate or not, it looks to be working.
You're free to say what you want about him, but I think you're wrong and from what I've experienced (disclaimer: listen to him at least once a week) is that he's just promoting "americana" (freedom, private property & accountability) and want to bring people together regardless of creed, color and race. Also the mainstream media does a poor job of covering Alex Jones and always misrepresent him and his organization on purpose and only show the public his goofy excerpts, when he plays one of his characters for his radio listeners like "demon hillary" or "demon biden" as of late...
What has he accomplished in 20+ years of his "news", aside from becoming the poster child stereotype for conspiracy theorists (purposely)?
Anyone that wants you to know the truth, won't sell their BS vitamin supplements in-between pieces. "We are all enslaved.....so buy muh vitamins!" Contradictions and money show his intent and real character.
