Invictus Volition has released a pre-alpha teaser demo for Russia 2055. Russia 2055 is described as a prologue to a game called Battle A.E. (Battle After Earth), featuring visuals that impressed all... Russia 2055 - Pre-Alpha Teaser Demo
Less annoyed about the motion blur or grain (even though I hate motion blur in most games), more annoyed with how long the clip is and it showing nothing really, guy stares at the side of a mech showing nothing, stands around looking at empty transport e.t.c all in the same zone, camera shake was horrible though, and the clipping OMG the clipping, whenever I see clipping it immediately destroys any immersion a game might have had. Clip should have been a quarter of its length if that, used way less shaking, avoided showing clipping, and been a proper teaser instead of whatever the hell that was.
Not sure if the goal is to be stylistic with the visual but it's procreating nauseating - that filter needs to go (shadows/fire etc) they're obviously having serious frame rate issues pre-alpha or not. I wouldn't have made that move, optics an all. No pun meant considering the visual optics of the game are making me squint. Underneath all that visual bloat there's a good looking game there. Depth perception seems off by a little too. Beyond that the game has a "realism" like aesthetic to it that I really like.
Yeah. I have no idea what the person who recorded that was thinking. It's like he was dead drunk. You know, like a drunken person can spend minutes trying to do some simple thing repeatedly over and over without really comprehending what they are doing.
It's like Michael Bay's film-making skills had a baby with Metal Gear Solid 4 in a world devoid of color.
Not looking good at all , washed out greyish colors and absolutely dull looking graphics , why on earth did they release this horrendous demo it cannot be unseen ...
ffs... i just watched a few seconds of the video and that camera shake + crap FOV made me feel sick! Maybe you have to drink a bottle of vodka before you watch the teaser to see it correctly...
