Corsair returns with their new Crystal 680X RGB PC chassis, which we review. The Crystal series has been a favorite of ours, spacious, dual chambers and fantastic looks can be achieved with it. In the...

Looks fantastic but is loud and probably very hot too. And that price, damn...

Damn you Corsair, where were you when I was looking for a Tempered Glass cube case?
I really like my compact FD Define C TG, but if they release a version without all the RGB stuff, I'm sold...
I'm a bit concerned about the noise though.

You can connect fans to the mobo and set a lower fan RPM, the airflow will be fine as there are lots of gaps and meshes.

Fans aren't the problem, they are set to low RPM on a 240mm rad, no problems there. My MSI RX 480 gets loud under load though. It isn't noticeable on my current case, the Define C's acoustics are excellent and what escapes the case is covered by the game's sound.
My plan is to get a new Navi card and add it to the loop in the future, and this case seems like an excellent option for watercooling.

680x Too expensive for me, probably get either thermaltake lvl 20 vt or Corsairs own 280x, and a handful of red halo fans.

Airflow performance charts are interesting. The corsair ml140 premium (140mm) fan is on par with CMs Megaflow (200mm) even at 5v.

p.s. just ordered a couple ml140 fans (do note they are not the ones on this case review)

I really like the design of the 678 but those prices are cray cray, so no.

Looks nice, although I still need a 5.25" bay for my Blu-Ray disks. At this point it's looking like I'm going to have to keep using my Carbide 540 forever :p
