why people test confidential hardware online and publish results. this is beyond my understanding.

I always assumed it was cheap hype marketing rather than any real "leak" per say

I thought so too, but why would Intel or Novidia bother with it? It's probably not related to them in any way.

Often it's there on purpose for a bit of a viral, but do not underestimate human stupidity as 3DMark defaults to 'validate online' and thus results are automatically submitted into ORB. The user needs to untag the validate results option (or enable the tag to hide it).

Why!? The 8750H is already absurdly difficult to keep cool even under ideal conditions! Why make it hotter and even m o r e difficult to keep cool? Jeeze... these refreshes got old five "generations" ago. At least back then it was an actual improvement instead of just clockspeed increases.

This i7 9750H looks same like 8850H to me if 6c/12t. and 14nm.

8750H is ok cooling is bit noisy but not tragic.
I am more intrested how they keep cool 9900K in laptop.
Probably piss every half hour on it to keep it cool.
