Bwahaha i knew it let's hope there's something other to do than the stuff we already did in the last 2 betas. Since the purpose is prob just to stress test the servers a lot more prior to release rather than presenting new content i better don't get my hopes up.
You guys should read the Tom Clancy book 'Operation Rainbow' until then, it's really good and lots of missions and characters from the 1st R6 game were in the story. Great book. Wish Ubisoft will one day return to the core story and make a storybased R6 game out of it.
Ubisoft are giving out a free game to everyone who pre-orders The Division 2 before March 14th, the free games are Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry Primal & Ghost Recon Wildlands: https://thedivision2-freegameoffer.ubi.com/#/en-US Unfortunately I already have all three of those! I tried the link anyway:
Well that's one way for them to get out more copies for their racing game I suppose. Or perhaps it will be some of the newer titles, New Dawn or Assassin's Creed 3 Remaster? I don't believe either of those is a full 60 USD / EUR title price wise so that could be it or it might be DLC or other content for Div2 itself.
Interesting it says "at your favorite retailer". So I'm assuming a pre-order key from eg. CDKeys should work then too. Nice if so, don't have any of those games yet.
Got Farcry Primal right away after i clicked the link. (BUT)! It says 'Preload'. I guess it's activated when DIV2 is out. Download is 16.6 GB.
Any of you guys got to try out the demo? I've read this post, seems like the demo looked pretty fine. How was it actually?
Played the Beta and it was very good, similar to Division 1 but some good changes tweaks and a fresh setting. If you liked Division 1 this is a no-brainer / must buy. There's an open beta starting March 1 btw, try it out.
Played it for several hours and absolutely loved it! The only thing I'm worried about is that you level up a bit too fast. Anyway, if the road to max level is as packed with stuff like The Division 1 was, then I'll be very happy.
I guess leveling up was sped up for the Beta. I assume and hope leveling up takes a bit longer in the final game. I think the pace was fine in Div. 1.
division 2 sales are up and it solely through the efforts of the epic games launcher and what a win for consumers. rah team anti consumer. it is a case with going with the spin of your twatter echo chamber and not reading the article which i think states that most of the sales have been through the ubisoft store not epic. but review tech has a checkered history with the truth at times i forget what it was but he pulled something that made me quit watching his videos utterly.
Oh it was about that. Should have watched before posting then. I was just so sure it was... well what I thought it'd be. Edit: yeaaah.... (watched it now) I'm actually dumbstruck. Literally. I wooonder if Epic sponsored Reviewtech US in any way. Or then he's just dumb. Ffs get your facts straight first. I'm not entirely certain either on why exactly should I quiver with fear. Or you. Or Steam. Or anyone?
uplay keys aren't all that expensive so why wouldn't someone who wants to play the game not buy that instead of the epic store? Ubi are giving out freebies to sweeten the deal on their own thing. I'm not interested in paying for a uplay standalone key so count me out until/if they return to steam but epic's a foolish choice to buy from. Reviewtech's a moron. Scroll past his videos if they ever show up. He's just a clickbaiter and a really uninteresting one at that.
Yah, like so many youtubers and it sure looks like he made that video to be purposefully misleading. If he issues a retraction and an apology, I'll change my opinion accordingly, but dingbats like him usually end up doubling down in the face of situations like these.
