Do you mean set them all to the same voltage (say 1100mV) and then keep increasing the P7 frequency until it's not stable?

Also, what's everyone's recommendation for a driver? A lot of posts seem to be pointing to 18.12.2 as a better option than the 2019 drivers.

Yes, but if you want stability, you will also need to decide if you want higher numbers or better efficiency.

The recommendation I made was assuming voltages in the 1.0V range, which will give you the best performance to efficiency for normal usage.

As for drivers, no pint in older versions, as you will just end up having to re do the whole thing.

Metro has never been particularly optimised and has kind of become the "Can it run Crysis?" of this era. It could just be a bad DX12 implementation.

    Update!

It seems I'm stable at 1045MHz on the HMB2 and currently at 1702MHz P7 @ 1100MHz. Going to continue pushing to et the best performance/efficiency balance.

Do you think I'll see any benefit from updating to the latest bios for this card? Seems mine is running the old, original bios.

    Thanks for the advice guys!

Hello everyone, just got a Vega 64 Nitro after selling my 1080ti (first NV card since 560ti), and i kinda got fed up with how boring it is, no tweaking at all :D. So now i've been trying to undervolt the card, and this is about as far as i can go. I wish i could get mid 1700s, or atleast low 1700s without pushing 1.2v through the core, but i can't. Did i lose the lottery or am i missing something?[IMG]

How did you manage 1200 on HBM?!?!?! I barely touch 1050 and get instant crashes!!!! :(

to be fair it artifacts very slightly so i keep it at 1180 mostly, but it CAN do 1200 if the stars align. I guess it was mostly for the screenshot :D.

Good OC You have there guys :D

Try to keep HBM2 not higher than 1120-1150MHz (Temps in mind) with not more than 900-937mV.
Test it with GAMES and see the temps/tW after 1h ;)

    For 3Dmark 1200 @ 1025mV is 98% stable.
1175 & 1180 can be stabilised @ 975-993mV (try to get lower than 1000mV on this baby)

All tests are with Stock ;)
For Vega they have default ReliVe settings (Quality) + HBCC at default (4GB)
Im not sure but it seems so, looking at RAM/VRAM values on their site.

    The code patches explain,
"The powerplay driver will be retired. The final version is for vega20 with SMU11. However, the future asic will use the new swSMU framework to implement as well.
Here is the first version of new sw smu driver that is basing on vega20...We would like to do re-arch for linux power codes to use a new sw SMU ip block for future asics.
We hope to write a simple and readable framework for Linux.
