Hi People, i need help please. i am noob in hardware stuff. i recently bought TR 2950x with aorus xtreme and my memory is not running at 3200mhz even though i changed the xmp profile in bios but it is coming to default after few attempts. i updated the bios to latest version. i am running 64gb of ram, same kit twice G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16GB) TridentZ RGB 3200 mhz . in cpu z when i click on memory its showing dual channel but i have 4 dimms it should show qual channel and its showing 64gb in system.

Note :right now its working with 2933mhz but not 3200mhz :(. and in cpuz its showing dual channel memory, please see the images.

You have installed all memory incorrectly

Your board is laid out as such

    2D | 1D | 2C | 1C [CPU] 1A | 2A | 1B | 2B

    You want memory installed in 1D, 1C, 1A, 1B.

ohh i seriously dont know this thing, i am shocked the hardware person who assembled it don't know this either. i guess i can do it myself, i am using cooler master wraith wripper, i have to remove cooler that to remove the ram, can i remove it myself? cooler has thermal paste in it, if i remove it for a while it won't get effected ?

the person who assembled it should perform the change, for free as it was their mistake.

the wraith ripper has a preapplied wax style thermal compound, removing the cooler will require cleaning this off and replacing it.
