Does anyone have alternative download links for Samsung Magician v5.3? I saw there was an update so I went to the official Samsung link and was greeted by this:

    We apologize for your inconvenience
Please try again within 24 hours

There is a daily limit on the number of this software.
Unfortunately, the download limit for the day has been reached, please try again within 24 hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. Thank you.

What I find ridiculous is a multi-billion dollar company currently ranked #14th biggest company in the world with a market value at 325.9 billion dollars has a daily data limit on a software that's 30 MB in size.

Am I nitpicking or does anyone else find this appalling?

I just got my 3rd Samsung SSD ( 860 EVO 500GB - 3,8 secs post w/o counting 1 sec POST and w/o Fast Boot ) and few hours ago downloaded the Magician normally. My next SSD will be Samsung 970 NVMe since my Z390 has passive coolers for these badasses.

Also FYI, there is a firmware update. As was the case for my first two ( 850 EVO 120 & 500GB ) when I bought them there was firmware update, too.

Too bad I deleted the program. But now you should be able to download it normally.

The latest version is 5.3 and you better get it. The update process is automatically. Great little program. No need extra software for firmware updates.

P.S. Hilbert H., on Guru3D usually there is problem finding a software searching on the site. I don't know why, but the other day couldn't find the NVSlimmer nor the Driver Uninstaller ( DDU ).

I dont even use samsung magician anymore I did recently installed new 860 evo 1tb, I assuming it came with most recent FW I dont really feel like installed it to find out, and even if it does have FW update I not I want to update it, every thing is working like should be, if it anit broke I dont mess with it anymore, Windows Update is only exception to this for me, "CU" feature update on other hand are defered for 6+ months

Got firmware update for 860 EVO. I don't use rapid mode on AMD though.

I probably asked this before but I dont remember, Rapid Mode does it need Magician to always be running?

Hmm, not sure, but I believe you do to have the caching.

Dont use rapidmode. There is no need for it.

I think it does. rapidmode is ram caching so when you restart the PC and not turn magician on rapidmode dont work.

Close magician and run some benchmarks. You can see there if it works without magician.

I think Magician saves the rapid mode into the flash memory, and it needs a reboot when enabled/disabled.
