Free to grab: Subnautica (Epic games)

Wow this is the best free game i can remember seeing in a long time. Absolutely loved this game. If you never played this do not pass it up.

Brilliant free games or not, chances are big the Epic store and launcher are littered with bugs, leaks and exploits, so I wouldn't go near it for another six months at least...

 

Yea, its a great game.Played the crap out of it, devs have nailed the underwater gameworld. Atmosphere is superb, hoping there will come a subnotica 2 in the future. I know they are working on a dlc, antarctica type of world, icy and cold.
Anyways, its well worth the time to download it. If you like it, buy it. Its not a expensive game, and it beats many aaa titles that cost a fortune with 20 different editions, premium packs and dlc, dlc for the dlc..

 

Thank you, sir, but I don't trust Epic Games and I could probably make a whole 20k character post about their launcher...

 

If its not redeem trough steam I'm not interested. They can offer all of their games and still I'm not touching them.

 

People complaining about free game. Worst thing you get a choice. Best thing, Steam has to improve to stay competitive if Epic store gets popular.

I had it just for unreal tournament and that went bust, the worst part was I got a mail each week someone tried to hack my account. I had to get mad at support later so they finally deleted my account.


That said even a free game from them won't get me back.

 

I got the same epic email saying my account had been hacked / attempted hack, constantly every day about 3-4 times a day for weeks

I just ignored them and my account is fine

 

I have feeling many people registering right now and if nickname is taken, they try to login with it, which causing emails being sent.

EDIT: registered account, downloaded and launched game without issues. Had Subnautica on my wishlist on a Steam for a while. Good to have it for chilling.

 

Bought it (for free) right in the Epic Store website. Not even installed the launcher yet. Will if (when) I want to play subnautica. Thanks for the info Hilbert!

I had them mails back in summer, it was actually hackers trying to hack fortnite users or anyone on their platform... im sure the craze will continue.


No tnx, but enjoy the game.

 

Same... got Ryse for free there, but i couldn't even get it to run...

 

Some complain free Windows upgrades.
