I procrastinated over buying the H-Tower for ages due to the crazy price, eventually decided to get one and it was discontinued. Kept my eye out for one ever since.

    i love it. cad/cam at it's finest

    i will eventually buy this...i need a few more months from summer's X399 build. m.2's are awesome, but day-ummm they're expensive (2tb).

i will gladly give up my diorama of geek figurines on and around my desk...and play it to the hilt like i'm really sacrificing...LOL

I like the crazy design but a 42k weight is just stupid.

Maybe they first constructed it with straight walls, but then placed it in a hydraulic press to push it down a little, while at the same time applying torque and constriction to the frame with a suitable noose.

I have one. I bought it with the intention of building a super gaming rig, but the Video cards in SLI, AIO Swiftech liquid cooler, 1200 watt power supply, etc. fans etc. etc. proved to be a bit too heavy for the H Tower motors that open and close the unit. I used it for no more than 1 month. I am considering selling it, but that thing weighs a ton and I don't look forward to shipping it. You can PM or email me if you have any real interes, and maybe we can come up with something. The H Tower truly is a futuristic "Transformer".

"it weighs 42kg though, so multiply that by 15 bucks per kg perhaps?"

Ummm.... no..... the author's estimate is off by a factor of 8. The Z-Tower costs $5000 USD. That is: 5-0-0-0 U.S. dollars, Not $500.

And that's how you waste a space and attract dust, kids.

On serious note, it really needs it's own room. Room with air filters to reduce amount of dust particles.

Honestly, ask local metal smith to make you some sculpture around skeleton of any regular PC case. It will be magnitude cheaper and unique. :D

Good idea. Often you can also visit a "maker's space" (community workshops of sorts), or school / educational institutions that teach any form of craftsmanship.

A couple of heatpipes transferring heat to the sculpture could be nice.
It should be possible to run a Ryzen 2700 passively with a 40kg metal heatsink.
