It's not mandatory in Windows 7 ... no issues.

 

You get a big choice if you want GFE or not before the "Custom" selection step. Whichever you select there goes.

 

Anyone try these on a 2080ti?

 

Seems like opencl is broken in both these and the previous 417.21 driver, again a blackscreen in MPCHC using SVP and GPU Acceleration, getting a bit annoying now as I'm running 144hz gsync screens as well so i was hoping these would fix the blackscreen issue coming out of sleep but once again will have to revert.

 

The DCH package contains one more folder than the regular package, named "NVPCF". This seems to stand for "NVIDIA Platform Controllers and Framework".

Anyone know the purpose of it? Is it targeted for gamepads?

 

Getting worse hitching then previous drivers in BFV. Friend was crashing with no other changes. Rolling back!

These drivers are required for the proper function of the new update, your hitching is normal following a driver update where the games shader cache is regenerated over a few matches.

 

No more display corruption, but it's replaced with a black screen/monitor won't wake up!

can anyone confirm Wolfenstein the new colossus freezes after intro whit this driver?

 

Boost problems in Guild Wars 2. RTX 2080 showing 1515 mhz in game with short intermittent boosts of over 2000 mhz but staying at 1515 mhz 99% of the time with FPS in the 30s or 40s @ 1440 with 11 FPS in big fights in WvW. Other games stay over the 2000 mhz.

 

use adaptive or optimal power rather than prefer max.

 

Same result. I was on prefer max btw.

 

Nope, works just fine with this driver and gtx1080.

 

Major issues in hitman2 with this, blocky, polygon type viewing all over the game.

 

This was not the normal minor hitching at the beginning of a round, this was massive almost 1-2 seconds of pause mid match. I think Ill roll back, then see if there are issues with the upcoming update.

 

i think you skipped the agreement part
on first installation page there is agreement page

if u select agree for nvidia graphic driver only, it will automatically exclude geforce experience

 

I don't recall seeing that first page but you could be right. I'll re-check. Thanks for the heads up.

 

So far I've only tried Rime, The Witness and Zombie Army Trilogy on my 970 but seem smooth and no issues installing.

 

I noticed extreme graphic artifacts on a jungle level on hitman 2 (new one). Not sure if it's just these drivers or others as well. I had installed these then played that mission for the first time. Other than that, everything works great.

Just saw your comment after writing mine. I have the same issue and same card. Did you experience this on other drivers? I had played through a mission just fine with these drivers then as soon as I got to the next it got all blocky. When I get a chance I'll re-test that mission on other drivers.
