https://streamable.com/qml62 As you can see on the left, grass/terrain decoration loads and disappear according to distance I tried to reinstall drivers, messing with NVIDIA control panel, purged standby memory in Win10, Dx11/Dx12, Low or Ultra settings... nothing i tried fixes this Also i can run game 90fps stable but it doesnt feel smooth at all (i am guessing its due to this problem but not sure) My specs are: Ryzen 7 2700x GTX1060 16GB 3200Mhz RAM Win10 latest build PS: not sure if this is the right place to ask, forgive me if it isnt
This is in-game problem , i think so. Wait for next patch update. ------------------------------------------- Read: DICE also assures players that Battlefield 5 has support for truly high-end graphics settings. Draw distance, texture quality, shadow quality, etc. can all be drastically improved on superior machines. Source: https://www.vgr.com/battlefield-5-pc-performance-display/ ------------------------------------------- https://www.battlefield.com/news/battlefield-5-pc-guide -------------------------------------------- Is the problem also on RTX 2000 series????. Other gurus might tell us.
I cant see that quote on that link I didnt read anyone having this problem in BFV (yet), i know people had it on prev BF but the fixes provided didnt work... i hope its liek you say, an in game problem that will be fixed with next patch Anyway since i am here, do you know if theres a way to force TAA off? Or if i force FXAA in NVCP will it disable in game TAA? BFV has it LOW/HIGH, no way to disable in game
Well a 1060 can only do so much? I mean have you checked your VRAM usage when your testing it? It may have to make some compromises swapping texture data like this.
Check out the BF:V thread, at around page 40, maybe somehwere before, maybe afterwards, they stated that in the cfg file you can turn it off iirc. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/battlefield-v-2018.418702/ Also, what resolution are you playing at? How much VRAM does your 1060 have?
Theres plenty of VRAM available, i usually play on LOW settings (only MESH on ultra... which is supposed to be BF draw distance) because i like stable fps and the least input lag more than ultra graphics... but as i said i tested all settings both low and ultra, but still those textures/terrain decoration objects loading in front of me doesnt change Also this game got same engine as BF1 and BF4, never had this problem I play at 1080p, i got the 1060 6GB I will check that thread, thanks
For what it's worth, I noticed it playing the campaign tonight in water/puddles. It was like it only rendered about 15 metres in front of me. 8700k/RTX2080 for reference
