No thanks. I would be at 1803 for the foreseeable future. MS QA process is one of the worst in the software industry and its saddening to see MS uses their product users as guinea pigs.

Hmmm. Going to wait a bit before installing this one. I rushed to update to 1809v1 and suffered USB intermittent disconnects

Felt that W10 was really nice even versus MacOS but colder now...

Well is not better than macOS at all, not even far.
But this apart, i installed 4 days ago the 1809 iso i downloaded with a tool.
Should i get an update or i should reinstall from scratch?
(i just experienced the USB disconnect myself, i wonder why they cannot provide a changelog that make sense, with what they change and where, even if is 100 pages to read )

I'm not even a W10 user, but i'm curious about that... what makes macOS "better" in front of W10? i think better is a very strong word, you could say that it is better in certain task or in certain side (like stability), i would say it is different. But i will love to read your opinion

    Totally with you about it.

I just update to the new feature version just shortly before the release of the new one. Most of the bugs are ironed out and you get a stable build.

My laptop is fully updated but shows version as 1803. Yet I have Dark app mode enabled and working.

So the thing that is new in 1809 is that dark mode also applies to File Explorer. Baby steps...

Explorer in dark mode is bugged, unfortunately. It appears a lot of users (myself included) are seeing black text on a dark background, making it about useless. For me personally, the window for "This PC" looks great, but if I open any other folder the black text bug shows up.

its not easy/clean change-log list... but u get what changes

fresh-install always better than updating, so if you think u dont mind wiping your previous installation (personal data, installed software etc.)... then go with fresh install, that way if you find problem/bug, then more likely its that build-issue rather than updating-issue

Not only that. With Bluetooth devices you can see a battery indicator to see how much battery is left until you need to recharge your device or replace the batteries. Under the Bluetooth settings.

Since I have a laptop that's already screwed up, I'll play guinea pig on this one.... Worst that can happen is the laptop ends up running CloudReady when it's all done and over with...

CloudReady is a ChromiumOS based operating system distributed by Neverware. It's basically ChromeOS, without Google's "proprietary" code.
