    LOL. Ignorance is bliss?

Have a look here a custom watercooled Vega 64
I know the guy and his settings, trying to keep the card at 300W max.

A Nitro on air is just 3-4% slower.

The 980ti is still a great card and a great buy used.

Interesting article, good to see my 1080Ti performing like a champ! Also the performance of the Vega64 is a big surprise, at least for me.

Also, i congratulate your amazing patience regarding the shitty DRM stuff EA puts in their games, making your work much more difficult. In your place i would tell EA to f*** off and i wouldn´t touch another of their games until they fix this issue...

    +1!

The 980Ti personally is a close 2nd in my top 3 cards I had in the last 18years-ish, with the 1080Ti being 1st just because of the performance jump it offers over it.

But, imo for pure awesomeness, the 980Ti is No.1! Had owned 4-5 models and all were awesome. Best I had was the GB Xtreme and ASUS 20th Anniversary edition! Amazing cards!

I'm pretty sure the point Irenicus was trying to make is why would you spend the extra money on a K-series if overclocking was of no interest to you? Why not buy the 8700?

I mean if you're happy with performance good for you. It just seems strange to buy a K series and not overclock it. And at least on my 8600k I see huge performance gains from 4.3 to 5ghz. Massive. But it would depend on your GPU and res also. But if you want benchmarks, I'm sure you can find plenty using google ;)

    Also. **than**

Because down the road, because low power is awesome, and because being strong in silence... or some similar quote from Dostoevsky that I used to quote when I got drunk LOL

Boost clock is 4.6 vs 4.7 though. Stock cooler you probably aren't going to hit that, but with an aftermarket cooler probably even something like a Hyper 212, you would be able to hit the boost clock I'm sure.

I raise my hat for Hilbert, i bet it is daunting with the limitations with EA, and alot of work to get us these reviews.

I do hope, that Guru3D stays up and working years to come, with these absolutely great reviews on hardware, and results on some big game titles.
I don´t have any other site, that i follow. I pretty much get all my info on Guru3D.

Keep up the Brilliant work you Guys/Girls (?) do on Guru3D! :):)

What kind of Voodoo magic is this  the 1060 6GB is better than the 980Ti and the RX 570 is better than the Fury X at 1440p ?
I'm not buying the game, because reasons, i would like to test it out though since i own a 980Ti in my main rig and a RX570 in a secondary PC.

Yeah that looks very low. But then again 1400mhz oc 980ti is at least 20-25% faster then stock ti. I dare to say it's up there at 1070 area.

    1070 is 72% faster @1440p

If one simply overclocks his 980Ti by 100%, he has a very good chance of reaching 1070 :D :D

A 100% oc on 980ti is 1080ti+ in normal games or there about..

    Edit:
    Stock 980ti vs stock 1080ti is what ~70%? @1440p
