I've done some benchmarks on my system. Zero difference whatsoever.

The latest version of it works. I do not know why the users of the latest version complain. I have not noticed any problems.

Yeah, the memory controller is in Triple channel for 6GB's in each channel, the last 2GBs in the first channel is addressed by single channel. Its a not very well described feature of the intel memory controller.

Section 2.4.2 of the Rampage III Extreme manual at the top explains it, i haven't seen other vendors with the same snippet.

one doubt is possible using ddr3 ecc and non ecc together same time?
ex: if I remove 1 comb of 2gb and put one of 16gb ecc or registered memory, computer work normaly?

x58 support ecc memory? cpu supported xeon, but chipset ?

all memory has to be ECC or support is not enabled.

mainboard also has to have bios and trace support.

also you need to check the RDIMM compatibility for extremely high density.

Have you tried the "Turn off real-time protection" gpedit setting?

Yeah, didnt work. This time took a lot of options in gpedit and regedit to disable defender. Today i decide to go back at 1607 build. 1809 was fine performance wise but same as 1607 and overall system was way too slow sometimes in comparison. I didnt gain anything from 1809, except some new bugs in task manager and always use inspectre to disable patches, so is the same for me 1607 without any bug. Im in a HDD, maybe thats why any build beyond 1607 feel slow overall, besides 1809 seems to need some more work.

As far as builds go, 1803 and 1809 are pretty terrible. With 1809 being worse. 1703 and 1709 are quite fine and mostly bug free compared to them. 1703 is pretty mature and 1709 is a tad faster.

Heck, even the Insider Fast Ring newer builds are actually better than 1809. The last good build in this update line was 17738. Pretty good performance. Too bad it was a bit too early in the cycle.

I recommend staying on 1803, and staying on build 17134.286, until whenever MS get's their act together. Or just stay on even older build, i wouldn't touch the new build ill probably just skip it over it until the next time around.

except that build 320 is definitely better than build 286.

Only, anything after .286 has that horrible file association bug, for me that's a deal breaker.
Of course, if one doesn't care so much, then 320 is better.

I can guarantee you thats not the case, since i was reporting the issue to microsoft while it was still in insider,

So, you are saying build 320 does not have the bug? Because i have reproduced it multiple times in VM and and on my real machine.

To be exact, the bug I'm referring to is, associating any file with a program using right-click open with, that doesn't stick. (also setting with right click-properties, then clicking open with "change" button is also broken)

Everytime rolling back to .286, and it fixes it.

Edit: also tested on .376 build, bug is still there too.

Edit again: also, it seems to only happen with files that have no association, some files it will work with like ones that are already registered as something, from what i have seen. Another nasty thing about it, it will leave multiple stuck OpenWith.exe processes open when it fails, and they just sit there in task manager.

I don't have the issue on either of the current updates on my 10 machine, i did have it throughout insider.

But i also found a workaround - the issue only occured on Standard user accounts which had not previously been an admin account.
