It can run 64 or more instances of Crysis.

Probably, but you would have to use Wine or Proton because this thing doesn't have any Windows-support. You would also need a display output or you could use a remote client with a display output.

just as impressive as i thought they'd be.

depending on pricing this could really hurt Xilinx.
fgpa's have snatched over 50% of the data center acceleration...with Microsoft just signing a contract for Xilinx accelerators for *all* Azure & Cloud data centers they operate.

but the ace in the hole is A.I. where these cards vastly outperform fgpa s with a faster product cycle and in Deep Learning for similar reasons.

Cool beans maan!! Hopefully they'll bring us some more variety in the GPU market for 2019.

Quite interesting, I haven't kept up with these developments!

And after having endured Xilinx software deployment and usage on a Windows system for a digital design course there's no ill coming their way they don't richly deserve. :p

pcie 4.0 with 7nm cpus exclusively, at this point only Epyc simply because there is an immediate application for the bandwidth from Big Data.
and Intel will be forced next cycle to add pcie 4.0 to Xeon, even at a larger node.

There is no connection to HDMI 2.1.

Broadband is needed to improve and analyze many encoders in movies
    ON LINE in real-time
PCI-E4 Can always help ( 5 years ago)

Does not have anything to do with Intel?
    Who cares about Intel?
