My 2080ti FE cards working well so far and I received mine on 5th Oct. Still, i feel like I'm treading on egg shells with all this failure talk.

I wonder if it's slightly over blown reaction???

My guess is that any problem should manifest during the first week of regular use.
Mine should be here before wednesday, and I'm so scared to see artifacts
RMA'ing from my country is an awful ordeal, and it takes ages, that part is what I fear the most about a failure.

I still haven't heard anything from Nvidia about my RMA on my founders edition. It's been 2 weeks now. I talked to support last week and they said it's in process. I'm hoping they are out of stock and I'll get a new batch

It is. Blown out of proportion by the same people who are complaining that the price is too high for the best card on the market.

If You wanna Play with it just Under.Clock (De-OC) gDDR6
And it will sustain operational Temps on vRAM.

Yah this whole incident has cemented something that I already knew, don't listen to youtube 'experts'.

While some of them are fairly objective, there are many with an extreme and very obvious bias against anything Intel or Nvidia.

Again, I'm not saying there aren't problems, there quite obviously are, but I have strong reservations regarding how widespread they are.

I was just about to jump into the shower, and the UPS guy decided to show up with my card.
    It's the PNY RTX 2080 Ti XLR8.
It's a hot day today, and the box was hot to the touch.
I opened it, and the card was bent.
It weights nothing, so it's no surprise it could bend with some heat.
I installed it, and it runs fine, but the bend is big.
I'm sad, and tired. I'm going to keep a 1080Ti in standby.
Here's a picture of the bent card. :(

    Send it back now.
If there are any other issues needing warranty they will refuse saying you already damaged/bent it.

I've already contacted them, I'm awaiting their response. At least there's a record that I contacted them right after receiving it.
Damn UPS sucks. There's always a problem with them.

Update: Amazon told me to try it for 30 days, and if it fails, I'll get a full refund

Well, I'm getting 30°C on desktop, 55-65°C on games. So far it runs everything at 60 FPS in 4K, and I'm happy.
No BSODs or artifacts so far.
I'll do a longer playing session tonight, but I'm staying positive.

Finally finished my build after few delays.

I noticed the EK waterblock for the FE manual was updated but did not include enough thermal pads for the coils, so I had to order some extra thermal pads and redo the GPUs in my loop, and now I've noticed a crack in the EK monoblock, so I will have to replace that when new parts come.

So far the GPUs are working perfectly with a solid 42c underload.
Got the cards overclocked so far to boost 2.200Mz, touch wood they don't fail now!!

I got zotac RTX2080Ti for two weeks now. Played Diablo 3, FFXB, PUBG, and Shadow of Tomb Raider with no issue.
Card is OCed with the OC scanner from Afetrburner and Mem OC +500 (7500MHZ).
However, last night I decided to try The Division using DX12 API. I start to see artifact on the top half of the screen, removing OC does not fix this.
When I try with DX11 there is no artifact, I played the game for an hour just to make sure.

Anyone that have the game can try to replicate this with your RTX2080Ti?
I’m wondering if the problem is my card, the game, or driver issue.

Temps idle is at 35C and load maxed at 65C

We live in a time when 1000 likes or retweets can end careers, so it's not surprise that a few loud RMAers can taint a videocard reputation.

Mind you, Caseking's numbers are solely based on AIB cards. The biggest complaint for dying cards is for NV's FE edition.
