Asus has ruined the Rog Hero with the cuts to make a profit... Somehow the E-Game is better and cheaper ... Will the E Gaming VRM is better than the Hero?
Hi Hilbert, The Asus website shows that a 40mm Assistant fan is included to mount over the main VRM heatsink. Could you please clarify why the assitant fan is not included in this review? https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/specifications/ Thanks.
fantastic review again HH. imho, the looks aren't "lackluster" they're superb. not everyone needs contrasting colors, and the rgb implementation is there if you want it. the biggest problem here isn't the board, it's the CPU in the case of the I-9 vs the VRMs. the smart move (to me) if you're going Coffee Lake is to go the I-7, give up HT and gain within 0.01-0.03 of the performance of the I-9 and either spend that money on a board like this or buy a better gpu.
I know it's more of a view angle thing, but it rings my OCD so hard! https://i.**********/dtS45J1K/img-6527-1.png
