What is an edgelord?

 

An edgelord is someone who posts spicy memes and trolls and does it frequently.

Kinda like one youtube star that sends gay interracial porn to to white supremacists for lulz, for an example of an edgelord behavior.

People with "edgy" names in MMOs are often labeled as edgelords... names like BigSlashMcSlayer (quickly made up but you have an idea).

 

I must disagree somewhat, as I think they are simply totally insane . They expect something different from mobile games contrary to everythng that has happened in the past. Considering the history of Diablo 3's auction house, they now don't expect activisionblizzard to montize the heck out of this game through microtransactions?
(+every other franchise adapted to mobile)

I don't get the hate. Blizzard even stated the announcement would NOT be what everyone is wanting. WTF more do you want? I can't be the only guy that's searched for a diablo clone month after month on his phone. I really appreciate this and will play the &*^% out of it. And that's coming from an evil white man in his late 30's.

I think it's basically because they are trying to sell something to a group of people that are not the target audience.

 

That's a generalization. I've played every game in the series. I even went back and played D1 on PSX back in the day. As a fan of the series, I appreciate having a legitimate offering of the title on hardware I have with me all the time. But that's me. Again, I also cannot speak for everyone. Just didn't expect so much negativity and assumption of what it will charge, cost, etc.For a mobile title it looks excellent.

 

Seriously it's a game. Who cares? If you don't like it don't play it. I'm sure it will make more money than Destiny 2 did

 

I was paraphrasing. D4 or something big for D3 in development was very much implied imo.

Yes, never directly D4 though. That was never mentioned.

 

The only thing Blizzard did wrong was outsource the game.
Personally I would love nothing more than to see Blizzard release some quality mobile titles. Gaming phones are actually becoming a thing, we just need more games that aren't blatant cash grabs.

 

I dunno when your fanbase is pc gamers that come to a convention expecting some uber awsomesauce announcement, because how many filthy casuals are showing up to these cons?

Bethesda at lest had fallout 4 to back up fallout shelter.
