    Hi, everyone.
Can anybody please, help me? I'm not really tech-savvy, a most recent versions and updates of DDU don't work anymore.
When in safe mode, the ''Clean and restart'' option (wich is what I've always used) along with all other options, are greyed out.

I've had to stick with DDU v17.0.9.1 ever since, because that one, along with the previous versions, do still work and show all options normally.
Could this be something CSM related that I read in the ''Issues and solutions'' file that comes along with it? Thanks!

You will probably "facepalm" yourself but you must select the "clean type" and your "GPU" on the right.

Windows 10 (1809) keeps installing 388.13 after cleaning with DDU. WTF?

Check the DDU options, if you upgraded windows, they reset to default and that option is disabled.

I'm still having Windows (1809) install 388.13 every time I clean the drivers. This is on a fresh install. There is an option to set the default behavior but I didn't click it.

To make this simple, juste disconnect your internet until you finished everything. (removing and installing the new driver)

    hmm does DDU clean out

    "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2"

I never really checked if does, and I dont feel like changes drivers and using DDU to find out. From looking at the log for DDU I want to say it does?

If the drivers works I dont frack with it anymore.

Either way anytime I use change drivers I
    1. Back up settings with NVIDIA inspector
    2. Disconnect Ethernet cable
    3. Run DDU in safemode
    4. Reboot install new drivers ( after manual extracting files and pruning unneed stuff from it)
    5. Restore setting with NVIDIA inspector.
    6. Reboot and reconnect Ethernet cable.

Never had issue, short of the issue being drivers them selfs.

Normally DDU should remove it unless something new or that it doesn't recognize is inside.

For your case, if it stays there after a DDU run, send me your DDU log (wagnard28@gmail.com) and I'll check if maybe something new was added that need to be taken care of.
    Thanks

Next time I do driver change I will check, but according to the DDU logs I have it notes that directory and says delete, so I assuming it does, since installing 1803 I only had 2 drivers on the system and that directory only listed folders and drivers from date and time I install the 411.63 drivers

If not already done or planned, is it possible that DDU remove NGX core?
I tried last DDU release (18.0.0.4) but in my system (Win10 x64 pro 1809) NGX core is not removed.
    Thanks.

I don't have much info on NGX, it's probably installed with RTX card only?

Yeap, USB-C and NGX is RTX only. How can we assist you in order to make DDU clean these too ?

I'll need device manager pics of theses devices
From each of theses devices (in the details tab), I need "Device instance path", "Compatible ids", and if present, their "Silbings" and "Parent"

A look of your DDU log would be great and also a list of what you have inside "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall"

That would be a good start.

Ok got the USB-C sorted out.
I just need some info about the NGX.

Just to be sure, do you still need some info about NGX?
