Wonder if they're a WHQL'd version of the October 15th update with support for the 580 2048 SP model.

EDIT: No the config file points to these as adding support for the RX 590

 

Another repackage of the same driver version? WTF is amd doing? I do not get it at all. Main difference is radeon software now is available in context menu and was available in driver installer, previously wasn't.

1st was Pre-WHQL (or Beta)
2nd was with WHQL Final
3rd cuz' they release new RX 590 soon, so it need to be supported from the get go

Normally we have like always -> Pre WHQL & then WHQL follows in coming weeks.

 

Is it just me or is Freesync really bugged on Windows 10? As soon as I exit a DX9 game, it seems to get locked at 60 fps and stutters until I reboot my desktop?

I've been having this issue back and forth with my older DX9 games and it has become more apparent on 1809 while playing through Valve's entire portfolio.

 

Maby Steam related issue? Check the forums on Steam to know if it's only You or common bug.

it's DX9 and im using Reshade 3.4.1 on Top = NP

 

its very very bad update for a long time...
18.10.1 the early drivers from 10th makes my mouse shutter in youtube and intensive gpu work on desktop, NOW after 15th re-release its even WORSE. they fix the mouse but destroy video colour reproduction,
I have massive colours shifts, jumping lines green,blue over videos. its very bad. What are they doing?

Use DDU in safe mode, after that go to display -> pixel format -> FULL RGB.

Those problem you mention i havent seen anyone else talking about them, maybe your card is dead.

 

Nope, definitely not a Steam issue. I've disabled their overlay (don't have any 3rd party overlays active) and also happens outside of Steam.

 

Well that is a nice overwhelmingly noobish tactic. Multiple driver releases each month with the same version lol. Innovation at its finest?

 

The graphic card is fine, as it works well after install the 18th release of 18.10.1
so something is definnitly ****** up with older releases. For me the symphoms was shuttery mouse and color shifts, for others might be diffrent,
so definitly update the drivers!

 

Lets call it 18.10.3...ok i fixed it for you.

Now you can install 18.10.3 October 18th, I signed it myself.

Now im on Oct15 so, i don't need to install anything until 18.11.x
