bethesda is not competent enough to make new vegas 2 it would be another shallow looter shooter. and the main people behind vegas at obsidian are no longer there. plus bethesda said they are not interested in 3rd party companies doing their games anymore anyway, their studios have grown since those days. and lets be honest it must ruffle the feathers of bethesda that so many fans put vegas over their efforts.
Fallout 76 Platinum Edition costs $115, doesn't include Fallout 76 https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-platinum-edition-costs-dollar115-doesnt-include-fallout-76/
The gaming industry is totally out of control, it's an out of control 'greed gathering' on an unprecedented scale.
People snatched up the Panzerhund Edition of Wolfenstein: The New Order from Bethesda.... It didn't come with the game either. I think, this selling like crazy and going over really well... may have fooled Bethesda into thinking it's okay to do this sort of thing.
Nope. Apparently it really is a thing now, I wanted the State of Decay 2 zombie head edition: No game and not available in Europe so I missed out, and bought the game for 9EUR instead... Red Dead Redemption 2 has one as well that doesn't include the game:
the good old days when collectors editions came with a game. i got the me2 collectors, and think it was just a metal game box with game and maybe an art book. And my uncle had tons of those exact bandanas he was into those and flannel shirts.
I personally don't understand why companies do this. Its nothing but more complicated for the customer who has to buy two SKUs instead of one which contains everything.
It saddens me how many people support bethesda in this crap. Ironically enough its all younger people under 18, looks like they really managed to nail the "casual audience" they wanted to target starting with Skyrim.
Yeah, and it's being handled really poorly. People were allowed into the first time for about 4 hours. Then, not allowed again for a week... and on the second time, only for two hours.
probably because the reactions of almost everyone that played the thing were meh. So the highly limiting your playtime so more meh "reviews" do not come out. Might as well grab the fo4-76 mod and play fo4 with no npcs. https://comicbook.com/gaming/2018/06/24/fallout-4-76-mod/ https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32599?tab=description
The only way I would play FO76, is if someone mods it... to remove the online requirement. And puts in a real quest line. But, I'll just wait for Fallout: Miami instead.
