Battlefront 2 seems dead for me. I can never seem to get a match going.

try dropping the volumetric clouds instead, they seem to be bugged.

    Really?

I always get an Assault in less than 30 seconds, even early in the morning.

Ok good to know, cheers for that :)

Maybe it's timing or location. I'm in Asia. I've tried other server locations but not much luck. A few months ago I had no issues getting even a 40 player match going.

Any new bios updates yet on cards other than evga or gigabyte? I've found that my card will sometimes randomly crash in certain areas of games unless I set the power target to max. With or without an OC.

Sadly, MSI always seems to be late to the party with BIOS updates.

The X299 motherboard microcode update had been out for weeks from other vendors before MSI's finally turned up.

I hope they show up soon for you mate :)

Editor’s note: What happens when a veteran graphics programmer with substantial experience in old-school ray tracing (in other words, offline rendering), gets hold of hardware capable of real-time ray tracing?

    https://devblogs.nvidia.com/my-first-ray-tracing-demo/#disqus_thread

So the RTX 2080 Ti is roughly 3X faster than a Titan V in this ray casting example.

Thanks. Yeah I was afraid of that. Funny thing is my friend at msi hasn't even heard of them even working on it. Oh well.
On a side note; anyone with a 2080ti able to get netflix 4k working through the netflix windows app on 1809? If so, how? I'm locked at 1080p.

I think it's the app, I can't get 4K either, but I do get it on edge.

Yeah the odd thing is it was working before when I was on 1803. I made sure I downloaded the hevc codec from windows store too. Maybe it'll get updated later. Thanks for the advice; I'll use Edge in the meantime.

Edit: Just a thought but could it be because I am not using the latest wddm 2.5 drivers on 1809? I'm using 411.70 because the new ones crashed too much.

Nah, it started to happen after a netflix app update.
1080p limit happens when HDCP 2.2 fails, so it might be related to that. They've been stricter with it over time.

Well finally got my refund for my Titan XP’s so I’ve now ordered a pair of EVGA 2080Ti XC gaming cards, a pair of EK Water blocks and an EVGA 4 slot NVLink bridge.

There’s currently no ETA on the NVLlink bridge but the cards should be in stock on Monday.

    Should be a fun rebuild.

I have had my 2 2080 Ti FE NvLinked cards since last Friday and so far so good. Really good performance and no throttling. My primary card gets to 65c on load and the secondary 58 - 60c. Idle on primary is around 40c and secondary 30 - 35c. I have played a lot of games but mostly Battlefield 1 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

I have two cards: Palit RTZ 2080 Ti GamingPro OC with a NVLink.
Would you tell me your SLI performance in Battlefield 1?
