Yeah I know... I thought you maybe didn't think about it / didn't check. First guess is not the issue then, just tried to help troubleshoot (I'd never use DX12 unless forced to by RTX at some point).
Well, the gpu is somewhere between 970 and 980 performance wise, which is pretty sub par by today's standards.
Is it me or is the netcode terrible? sometimes i die incredible fast, and it takes me half a magazine to down someone.
Gun mechanics and balance is horrible yet again... Not to mention if you're going for 120 fps with lower settings, I can't see a damn thing at range, need to turn off this forced AA somehow as it blurs everything.
You can improve the gun mechanics by buying upgrades via the XP points you earn. There are upgrades to improve time to reload, time to aim down the iron sites, reduce horiz recoil, vertical recoil, hip firing improvements, etc. The guns start to feel like they handle much better after buying a few of of those.
Pew pew pew, having lots of fun in the beta ! Playing mostly with ultra preset, post process to high and resolution to 83% for decent 4K experience with my 1080.
I'm being the heretic and installed it on my ps4 instead I usually get bad pings on pc anyway. Let's see how it goes tomorrow.
Not funny, at all. Everyone who didnt have early access should be able to play the beta this afternoon already (my time, so in like 11 1/2 hours, 22pm cest) when you connect Origin through NZ VPN, disconnect when you are connected.
@Dragam1337 None, never had issues. Playing with resolution scaling is a must to get decent 4K performance nowadays . Properly implemented you can barely see any difference. Unreal engine updated its resolution scaling option (while adding dynamic resolution for consoles) a couple updates ago, and the result is trully impressive. If you're doing the resolution downsampling at the right time in your rendering pipeline while optimizing which computations are done before and after, you can lower your resolution scaling without almost any difference at all with proper filtering and TAA. More on the subject, really interesting if you're into that kind of things, of have any interest in 3D rendering ^^: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-us/Engine/Rendering/ScreenPercentage
Well, not when using sli I get locked 58 fps with 60% gpu load with sli enabled, but i wanna use downsampling... it's possibly bugging due to running sli in the first place, will have to test it with it off
Tested it, and it worked fine with single gpu... shouldnt be a problem though, nvidia will make an official sli profile for this game for certain
looks great but it's unplayable on shitty Barracks wifi. gotta wait for this weekend when I see mah' gurl and play on proper Internet to judge it
