I am looking to upgrade my current monitor (AcerXB280HK). I would like a curved 34" monitor with g-sync, but I can't seem to find any. I can find plenty that are 3440 x 1440p or 1080p, but the only monitor that is true 4K (2160P) and is 32" is the acer XB320HK - same monitor as the one I've got, just bigger. If I can't find a curved monitor that does 2160p resolution, I will purchase ther XB320HK (32" g-sync 2160P monitor). I like the monitor I've got, but it's just a bit to small for the resolution that I am running. Can anyone point me in the right direction? All replies are appreciated.
I have been in the same boat, however I think I have found the closest thing. https://edgeup.asus.com/2018/professional-grade-curve-asus-proart-pa34v-ultrawide/ Yes, it's adaptive sync and not g-sync (but for me it will satisfy that requirement)... But it's also 100hz at least and curved, 34'' Considering even with a 2080ti, some new titles (like Cyberpunk) may not even be fully playable on ultra with full 4K, the resolution (3440x1440) doesn't bother me. Close enough.
I don't think 4k ultrawide (21:9) exists yet. Personally, I'm settling for the upcoming 200 Hz 3440x1440 G-Sync HDR with 1000 peak nit brightness (Predator x35 or Swift Rog PG35VQ).
LG has a 3840x1600 if that counts as "4k ultrawide" https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-3...Q0onBzuEMiKQGe5gU3Syho8YkQ29-hCxoCL2MQAvD_BwE
Right, but if it was 21:9 that would mean ~5k horizontal which people probably wouldn't call 4k. This is why describing resolutions with only one number is dumb
