Got a Galaxy S7 or higher? You have Fortnite! Fortnite has launched as an early preview for Galaxy devices from the S7 up. You can download it now from the Samsung App Store. The early preview is for Galaxy devices only, but Epic will be giving the chance for other devices to participate in the beta for Fortnite on Android in the next few days coming. To register for that, just go to https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/mobile/android/sign-up. There is some bad news for some of you holding on to your Nexus 6 or Galaxy s5, Fortnite on Android requires at 64 bit version of Android 5.0 or higher. Current list of devices that support the beta. Current devices that have compatibility issues, but are going to be fixed for future releases. https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/faq#android When Fortnite is launched, Fortnite will not be on the Google Play Store but instead will be downloaded from their website.
Alright, alright, everyone settle down. Fortnite is indeed here, but if you have been paying attention to the buildup to this release, you will know full well that it won't be available on the Play Store. It is however available on the Galaxy Apps store, and you can even get to the initial download from Samsung's Game Launcher application. You will need a recent Samsung device for this access, so as long as you own a S7, S8, S9, Note 8, note 9, tab S3, or tab S4, you should be golden. https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/08/09/fortnite-select-samsung-devices/
lol i was just about to post taht (well the link to the beta) http://fortnite.com/android http://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.epicgames.portal
It's trash, just like epic launcher and their login system with poor protection. I had to get angry after 7-8 mails until they finally deleted that pos account. Edit: so I installed it anyway just to find out I need this login again, no tnx. Deleted.
@WhiteLightning Did you run Magisk Hide first? I used to when I was on my Moto device for situations like this, though not sure if Magisk Hide can hide the bootloader being unlocked... I'm tempted to try it on my Nexus 6P, just change the device ID to a Note 9 once we get a dump so I can get the skin, and just hide my root and what not to get that.
Lol ... I tried to run it without an epic account on my ps4 and it just bothered me with a few screens of stupid prompts so I uninstalled it. Why couldn't they just automatically make an account using my PSN details and eff off? Neah ....
yes, but it doesnt work. i guess we need to wait for someone to fix it. oh well their loss here is the note9 dump btw might you wanna try https://drive.google.com/file/d/18jfeNUJG4iXLlxrB_M7yb3epYgL5bxaL/view
Try hidemyroot https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amphoras.hidemyroot That worked ok on my old galaxy alpha and snapchat. Select hidesu library login after that you can restore su lib.
Thanks! I'm gonna have fun with this! Off topic, just looking through it and comparing it to the current build of Oreo I have on my S8 there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference app wise, must just be small version differences? The funny thing is with Galaxy devices, if you launch the game with the game launcher you can use a supported controller and you can "emulate" your touch controls on it. They did say they were planning on adding controller support to the game, which it definitely needs.
How to play on rooted device supposedly https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/themes/how-to-play-fortnite-rooted-device-t3827577
Did you read the note? Some people had tried to use Magisk Hide to play Fortnite but it didn't work. Thats because they Used Magisk Hide after downloading the Data and installing The Fortnite App. If you do it before,Fortnite will not Detect Root! Cheers!
