Fallout 76 will be exclusive to Bethesda.net

This is a great initiative for everyone to move their games from the one single working fully functional platform that everyone uses. Who doesn't want to have 500 launchers for each company that has ever released a game?

 

Maximum revinue from microtransactions. No cut to steam

 

Glad I'll be able to skip this. I just hope they're not doing the same for all titles in the future...

No one is ever satisfied. But TESO is on Steam as well, crappy part about it is that it needs to install Bethesda Launcher in order to play TESO (not to mention downloading it via Steam and redownloading the same game via B launcher).

 

This way they get to keep the sale numbers quiet if it turns out to be a Dud.

 

I've read this news on several sites already and most comments are negative. Way to go Bethesda!

 

If its like borderlands, it could be good. Otherwise, I guess it's just empty sandbox with some tools to play with.

 

I don't want another buggy launcher for my games. Steam is the only DRM I need at this point. Also Bethesda trying to maximize their microtransaction profits is disgusting.

However there's NO excuse to PIRATE your game! If you don't like it, don't get it. It's as simple as that. You know it's criminal, wrong and ugly, save yourself the hassle.

It depends where you live. In a real free country like mine if I have a original game I can download any copy I wanna. End of story

For me it's not promotion. I have a box of Fallout 4 goty and I'm using a downloaded version. Why? They wanted me to push an account to steam and register there this game. Every version they release now I need new script extender, for with I need to wait. And I'm a busy guy. I want to play any moment when I have time. With steam and it's automatic updates it prevented me. Now it's simple, I have codex version and I update it only when all mods are updated with script extender. All my problems solved. God bless them.

GOG is the best for me right now. I can install their application or not. Update games whenever I wanna. This is how it should look like. I should be able to choose to install game with or without any additional software.

 

Steam is one of the worse platform now despite being one of the most used, also most of the time it add DRM on game that is DRM free on other platform AND is generaly most expensive in most of the case...
It's a no go for me.

This is best news ever, because i don't intend to play it. Also fcuk Bethesda for still regional block games.
