    So will this make DX12 work better in WoW?

    Trying to do a "minimal" install with just the following folders...

    Display.Driver
    HDAudio
    NVI2
    PhysX

    ...and I'm getting a "Cannot find the path specified" error. Tried a few different combinations of folders, but the error persists, so it seems that the installer now wants all the folders in there. I'm not sure if this is a new issue with these drivers, as I've been using Quadro/Tesla drivers lately and not the WHQL "Game Ready" GeForce drivers, so I'm not sure if it's been an issue prior to this release.

    It's been a thing for a few releases now. Don't delete geforce experience folder and uncheck it during installation.

    Thanks for the quick reply, but it doesn't seem to be entirely working. With just the GFE folder(s) in with the other four the installer will start, but after it does its compatibility check it errors out with "Installation package is corrupt."

    EDIT: It would seem that if you have an extra folder in with the rest, the installer will error out. I was holding the other nVidia sub-folders in a folder named "#TEMP," and that was causing my error. After moving that folder out and only having Display.Driver, GFExperience, HDAudio, and NVI2... it installs. Thanks. :)

    Interesting. I'm positive that GFExperience folder shouldn't be empty (honestly don't remember what files does setup.cfg check) but other than that I'm pretty sure today I installed the driver with only Display.Driver, GFExperience, NVI2 and PhysX folders intact.

    They say that the SLI profile was updated, but I just tested it in a few areas, with this new driver, and it still suffers from the same windowed mode issues it did prior to this update. As far as I can tell, a single card is still smoother than SLI when using windowed mode, with WoW, at this time.

    Also, I agree, it's unfortunate that they dropped exclusive fullscreen in DX11.

    I see no tangible performance boost anywhere.

    EDIT: To be fair, I obviously cannot test every area. :)

    There is a thread on here for doing and removing bloat from the new drivers and it works. Do everything as usual delete the folders not wanted but then at end you open up setup config with notepad and at very bottom you delete some entrys and then save. It's in this thread
    398.36 WHQL + 398.46 (Hotfix) - Clean Version It's on page 2 a post from cryohellinc and it's under a spoiler.

    Seems there's no profile for Yakuza 0 in the notes at least.

    You don't need Geforce Experience folder to do minimal install. You can keep only 4 folders like you always do.

    Open "setup.cfg" in notepad and remove these three lines at the bottom:

    <file name="${{EulaHtmlFile}}"/>
    <file name="${{FunctionalConsentFile}}"/>
    <file name="${{PrivacyPolicyFile}}"/>

    Nice, as it happens just bought and installed Wolf 2 yesterday.

    Also @-Tj-

    have you tried these yet, approved?

    :D

    Btw fixed:

     {Unreal Engine 4]: Resource creation leak occurs in the driver when running Unreal Engine 4 games. [2204854]

    maybe that could help with Vampyr's horrible loading times?

    Anyone sitting on a copy of MH:World that can tell if there is any difference in performance with this new driver?

    I tried DX12 yesterday (not on this driver) and noticed a performance boost in Dalaran of 7-10fps. Of course this test is not super accurate but performance does feel good. Will be interesting to see how it is in raids.
