Good day people. Actually my first post after occasionally lurking for a decade and a half.

Anyhow, humour me. Is there actually any point of completely removing drivers these days, like so many suggest in misc threads? Back in the days, things quickly went awol if you left stuff around, but shouldnt it work out itself in fricking 2018? Wont the relevant files get replaced, and thats that? I have a 4790k and a 1080ti, and sometimes feel things doesnt flow as well as it should, in games like Fortnite and particularly PUBG (but I hear the optimization sucks in that game anyhow, so...). I just wonder if there is any point DDU’ing is all. Cheers!

For a casual user, It's not mandatory. It's a tool to be used when needed, if you have no issues the normal way, there is no express need to use ddu. *Usually* left over are not causing issues.

Ok. Thanks Wagnard. I’ll probably do it anyhow, as clean systems and earning a bit of valuable ssd space doesnt hurt. I’ll post back here if it helps «solve» my «issues», just for reference. Have a nice day man. Cheers!

Hi, very new to the forums, have been using the software occasionally for less than a year.

I saw in the log of the program that I had a third GPU device aside from the Intel integrated graphics and 1080 Ti. I saw that my old 980 Ti was seen in the log, how can I remove any leftover files from that GPU? Haven't used it for a year and I don't think it's good to be recognized in the log.

When cleaning the NVIDIA driver with DDU, the 980 Ti stay there?

@Wagnard i've notice this error in Even Viewer after installing the latest version:

    Event 7030 Service Control Manager
" The PAExec service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function properly."

Is this normal or there is a fix that i have to apply?

Yes it's normal, it's PAExec related. Everyone get it on recent OS. You can ignore it.

@Wagnard thank you for adding the Realtek Audio Removal. Some time ago i downloaded from some forum somebody made a .bat file to clean the audio driver so i decided to test both and see which one is cleaning better.I first tried yours and then ran the .bat file.Almost everything was removed but several reg.entries(i just couldn't figure it out which ones).I can paste all the reg.entries from the .bat here so you can compare and add the missing ones if you want,or,i can upload the bat somewhere.Let me know. You almost there man, great job.
