I am not so bothered about the bland Windows XP-style look of the NVIDIA control panel so much as the poor profile management which I really would like to see improved. For starters, adding profiles manually does not allow you to edit them so you have the actual game names rather than the executables, nor does it allow you to back them up (I have to use NVIDIA Inspector or NVIDIA's own SLI 3D Profile Tool to do that).

Compared with AMD's control panel, the NVIDIA one does admittedly look workman-like, barebones and archaic. It definitely could do with a visual overhaul IMO if just to make it fit in better with the look of GeForce Experience. In fact, I am surprised that NVIDIA haven't incorporated the driver control panel into GeForce Experience to give a more unified look to the interface that fits better with Windows 10.

At the end of the day though, functionality is far more important than looks and, IMO, the NVIDIA control panel could definitely do with some additions as well as the aforementioned profiles backup/editing options such as built-in overclocking and a better user-interface layout as well as some coding optimisation to speed things up. I have a lot of games installed and accessing the profiles can sometimes be very slow despite running Windows 10 from an SSD.

NV Profile Inspector works fast. Just in case.

The day the nvcp is incorporated into GFE is the day I reverse engineer the hardware and begin writing my own drivers.

I'm okey with the way it still is, but it could do with a complete make over, as long as no features are being removed.

It would be cool to import and export profiles, without needing inspector.

As well as implent Integer Scaling for old games without high resolution.

Oh no, he was a bit rude! What are we going to do. Shall we call his mom to give him a no-no attitude with some spanking at the end?

Probably meant the "Nouveau" driver for Linux, but this is by reverse engineering NVidia's drivers, not so much NVidia's hardware.

No progress. Many years the same. Nvidia should take the Great Shame.

One of them doesn't break games and the other is AMD's new control panel.

The former also takes too damn long to edit a damn profile. This could use some optimizing love.

Changing User interface (UI) .... will not really change anything........ unless new implementation has been made on software level working on the hardware capabilities..... then i think it would be nice to have "at the same time" to change the UI.....
    ----------------------------
Yes, for "dummies", should have one{the new cpanel and new settings [hardware level]}.....(with the addiction of overclocking for unknown purpose(s) ;) )

They just need to implement the theme support.

PS And NV Profile Inspector still works fine.

I don't want a big overhaul (also probably more resources hungry), but some small improvements would be cool, common people if not for changes we would still be in Windows XP era looks :D
Yeah theme support would be cool as well.
