VK396_42-45 Latest mainline release is r398_35-3 so this one is based on an older branch. Would avoid unless you need the new Vulkan features.
Ok those with nvcontainer issues, nv added a new nvcontainer folder Spoiler 398.36 https://s33.**********/ozgsyaiov/398.36.png 398.56VK https://s33.**********/hw8xiokz3/398.56_vk_driver_nvcontainer.png https://s33.**********/ymkb80ytr/image.png Maybe this is it and fixes my issues by restart or power off. EDIT; nope, still happened.. Is there a newer @thatguy91 visualc++ installer or is v56 the last? Edit2: it seemed to settle after few reboots, Idk I didn't see it again. I also set nvcontainer to run as admin.
Hey @-Tj- use this! https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/repack-visual-c-redistributable-runtimes-2018-07-11.76588/
I've benchmarked it a bit and its on par with better faster drivers, also it has stable higher min fps. I'm keeping these for now.
Oh I forgot about the login. It just says this: https://tiny.cc/vcredist Wilently's was good at first since it was updated after thatguy91 stopped updating but it seems he has as screw loose so... Besides, this one is more up to date. 14.15.26626.1 [2018-07-11] This one completes the job significantly faster, doesn't get stuck, no bloat, no silly options, etc. Also, have you noticed that this new Vulkan driver does not use the runtime package like previous releases. Even on vulkans site you can't download 1.1.80 yet, only 1.1.77.
Seems it's using loose files for the Vulkan runtimes now yes. Thus the exe and .dll's are in the Display.Driver folder in compressed form. Guessing 1.1.80 is in development and the final compiled SDK and runtimes from the Lunar website could end up with a higher version number as a result. EDIT: Well after expanding them those are version 1.1.77 too.
I registered in the end, Still haven't had a nvcontainer hang yet, ok only initial.. Idk what fixed it, did few things - uninstalled HP driver suite - set nvcontainer as admin (could be this that fixed for good) - removed intel gpu driver (have igpu disabled now) - cleaned some unused apps and stuff. Nothing really that would conflit, but just in case. Although flashplayer got updated again and last time I used only ff when it happened. I reinstalled c++ after it stopped Anyway, so far so good. Will stick with this driver for now, no unusual game issues yet. Not that I really had any, no stutters., etc.
Or having it in general is useless too,. let them start my pc on fire! I have nod32 11 security with its browser protection and that warned me few times if its a shady link or flash/gif link on the site, then there is hips, suspicious apps/exe installers and manual firewall, plus passive windows defender monitoring my status, https://s6.**********/71jp05ogt/info.png that's good enough for me
