The extensions aren't going to be doing much without driver support but the bug fixes could be of use.

Seeing how the runtime is backwards compatible and all though this changed a couple of files around so it's mostly contained in the Windows folder now with only a few document files in the Program Files folder.
(The other fixes are more for the SDK or Github repository itself and not related to the runtime / loader software here.)


EDIT: Actually most of these might be more for development.

I'm using 1.38.2.1 GPU Caps viewer and my API version shows 1.1.70. Even when I downloaded the OP's latest version from

which is supposed to show 1.1.73.0.

The default Nvidia drivers showed 1.1.70. So I think the OP's download is just placebo or incorrectly packaged.

 

The latest 397.55 hotfix driver still has Vulkan API version 1.1.70 with the included VulkanRT Installer also at version 1.1.70.0.

Use the Vulkan development beta driver if you want 1.1.73 support. The latest version is 397.54 which you can get from:
https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvidia-397-54-vulkan-developer-beta-driver.420843/

 

That is the 1.1.73.0 package taken directly from the newest 397.40 Vulkan development driver so maybe it is only showing 1.1.70.0 because that is the latest version your driver version supports.

Here is proof of the latest Vulkan installed and 397.55 reporting 1.1.70.0:

latest official 397.93 is a bit tricky to install (new installation with geforce exp or driver only, delete all the file if you stop the setup), waiting for your repack

 

The only thing that's a bit tricky is having to delete 3 lines in the setup.cfg file so that the GFExperience folder can be removed completely.

 

Ok guys I just got back from a vacation so I have to do some repacks and update the information. Expect things to be sorted later today. Sorry for leaving you all hanging, but I had a great trip if that makes any of you feel better.

Correction: 397.93 WHQL still only supports Vulkan API 1.1.70 even though the included VulkanRT is 1.1.73.0.

397.96 Vulkan developer beta driver is the one which supports Vulkan API 1.1.73.

if i install 397.64 driver with vulkan installer 1.1.73.0 will work vulkan 1.1.70.0 normally (because these driver support only this version)? or i need install the 1.1.70.0 vulkan installer separately to work?

 

Cant find this (- 397.64 WHQL driver (free of crap) with support for 1.1.70.0) version of nvidia driver in your folder could you please post a link? I really want to try this. Good work btw.
