Wife went comfort food this weekend. My Grandma's meatloaf recipe, shallow, only like an inch-inch & a half high, but TEN FOOT HIGH in flavor. Add mash potatoes and brocili, we be smokin'.
Just making a simple ham and cheese club sandwich tonight. However I wanted to give a shout out to this youtube channel I recently discovered. Fellow Oklahoman Kent Rollins the master of chuck wagon cooking. https://www.youtube.com/user/krollins57/videos He beat Bobby's Flay's ass on a chicken fried steak throwdown.

Sounds amazing my friend but I'm afraid I'm in England. That being said, I often buy nice deli meats, thing is they can be so expensive. But there's a lot of good stuff out there and throw in some good cheese, some pickled stuff, some salad/onion/tomato, whatever you fancy, wrap it in good bread... Man, I just made myself hungry!

Pork Shoulder is the best. It's cheap, but very easy to turn into a delicious dinner with days of leftovers.
Here we go. Country style ribs with Sweet Baby Ray's sauce, sweet potato fries, and some steamed vegetables.
Picked this up today at a grocery store that specializes in all organic, non gmo foods, and overall healthy stuff. Haven't tried it yet but the girl at the counter said it's really good. Time to thaw out some chicken, and pick up some rice tomorrow.
Do any of you guys have these in your country? I am addicted to them, put them on a portable grill or on a coal barbeque and the smell alone makes me drool like an idiot. Sometimes I throw like 2 packages (16 or something) on the barbeque and whatever I didn't finish that dinner i'll put in the fridge for tomorrow to microwave. Even when microwaved they still taste really good as long as they were barbecue'd in the first place.
My wife made me Golden Shrimp Scampi for my 67th birthday this past 14th of May. WOWOW, think she after that insurance!!!!
