All I wanted to know is the build number lol. I'm amazed that this piece of info is missing from every article I've looked at so far.

I've been using 1803 since the previous launch so what's the difference here? because my system wants to update again to another 1803 version, is this the one without the blocking bug? Kind of annoyed now I have to update again, I got windows all setup nice as well.

Here are snippets from the Reddit Mega Thread:

Duplicate prompts when you go into CMD

In Diagnostics and Feedback, FEEDBACK FREQUENCY...Windows Insider Program Manages this Option is grayed out

Alt-Tabing out of a game is slower. You have to Disable all Focus Assist settings (NEW FEATURE) found in Settings. Until someone finds out which setting it is that causes the problem.

If you have fast start disabled it might be re-enabled again.

If your Mic doesn't work in games, discord, etc. You may need to actually Enable "Allow access to the mircophone on this device" the "Allow Apps to Access your Microphone".

You may not be able to disable WebSearch from Group Policy even though it worked before.

For Some the new Time-Line may not be working correctly.

MS Store may re-install all the bloatware you deleted months ago. With more added after every restart.

Sound Enhancements might be reset so check it.

You mind as well delete all restore points before you install the Update.

Realtek users may need to re-install their drivers if things aren't working correctly. Check your current settings. Also, be on the lookout for an update.

As a general rule use Device Manager to make sure you are using the Manufacture's Drivers instead of Window's version for that device. It maybe the source of your issue.

Check Disk Management. You might find that the April Update created an additional Petition on a driver other then C. No explanation found as to why it did that.

It appears that those who did a clean install report more problems. But it's subjective because they are actually tell you they did a clean install vs others who didn't tell you at all.

Got it too, last night. 12GB less on my SSD (keeping the old version as a backup). So far it works well, still I'm not sure I'll need/use all the new features or if they were really necessary but they are there.
I'll need do a fresh install to see if there any improvements in loading times or gaming.

    Ha!
Looks like all the Spectre/Meltdown mitigation will only go up to 1709!
It's not intended for 1803. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a result of them pulling the update the 1st time.

Therefore, I suggest everyone who updated to check to see if you are seeing a Performance Improvement. Do it Quickly before you are Auto Updated to the new KB's for Spectre/Meltdown.

Can confirm, the problem seems to have fixed itself already. Must have just been a weird little glitch.

Benchmarks are not required to prove that it's better (gamers). Better FPS doesn't mean better gameplay. What this version does fix is the raw input issue. If you are an FPS gamer, you'll know what that is and you'll update.

meltdown patch is already included in 1803,
spectre patch is only there if a microcode is available and as of 1803 skylake and later included in windows.

nahalem+ have one available for merging into a bios

(Yep, I already pointed this out on the first page of this thread.)
Intel microcodes so far have not been part of the auto update, you have to install those KB's manually.

Just referring to the bit in your post that I underlined, Intel microcodes are not available yet for this latest version of Windows, following is a link to a Microsoft web page where they summarise all the KB's for available Intel microcodes for all the different versions of Windows 10, 1803 is not included yet, but this page is useful for keeping an eye out if 1803 gets support in the future:
